Fansubs Petition to include a.scarywater torrents

A significant amount of fansub groups use a.scarywater to store their torrents.

 

Hold on, what is this exactly? Explain it for the rest of us please. I guess I'm a little slow today.

Hello, I'd like to post a torrent for the anime Mushi-shi which is (i've said this at least 3 times ) Not licensed . I would like to link to the torrent site: a.scarywater.net .

 

So is this about Scarywater then, or Mushi-shi?

Mushi-shi is great, if you want to post up information and spread the word about it then by all means go for it.

A.Scarywater is a torrent tracker right? I've never heard of it before but if someone else knows about it and is ok with posting it up. Looking it over I see several big name fansub groups (Anbu, Soldats, Lunar are the ones that popped out at me) and I know they shy away from licensed material.

Frankly I dont see a problem with scarywater. It looks more like a fansub group database more than an actual anime title base, which is cool. I didn't catch anything that looked licensed. Unless someone else has a problem with it I don't mind including to the master list. I'd still like to get either Bashi's or Izzy's second opinion before it gets stapled on, though.

For the moment go ahead and post up Mushi-shi off scarywater. I'd like to know more about that series. We'll get back to ya on posting up any further titles off of that tracker.

aye a.scarywater is actually a tracker site that came out around the same time as asuki, you can even say that scarywater vitally aided asukis development and popularity.

Also can we move the existing Mushi-shi thread from the Anime section to the fansubs section? That way i can post the link without having to make a new thread.

I don't mind it included into the master list. So second then.

I looked the site over. It isn't as clean as ASuki. It still doesn't allow licensed material.

As you can see animesuki groups use scarywater for a good portion of the anime.

I will PM a mod about moving the thread.
