The empty staircases and the dark passageways entranced the girl. She followed them well into the night. Finally coming into a shadowy room. The walls were as red as blood. Not matching the navy blue Victorian dress she had on. With a smirk, she looked down to her dress, whispered a small spell, her dress turning red.
    The walls came alive with fire. Showing in the center, a golden pentagram. She walked towards the center of the star. Looking up into the full moon, she whispered;
“En conclusion, mon prince je suis venu.”
A door opened to the left of her. She turned, her golden blond curls moving with her angelic grace. She smiled at the man who walked through into the fire lit room. He in return smiled at her. She walked over into his arms.
“You have finally come, my dear sweet Lorelei.” Storm said into her ear.
“I have come just as I promised. Not even death its self could keep me from you. I have chosen you.”
He smiled at her, but it pained him to see her. He knew that soon he and his family would be leaving. For he was next in line to lead the family. Though, he would rather stay in this moment forever.
“Lorelei, you know that our happiness will be short lived. I do not wish to see you in pain.” Storm let go of her and turned his back to her.
She looked down slightly, and then looked up her eyes filling with tears.
“I would follow you any where, mon prince. I have told you this. I wish to be with you…for all time…” Lorelei looked down, a teardrop falling from her cheek to the floor.
Storm turned to her, and cupped her face in his hand and wiped her tears.
“Such a sweet and angelic face such as yours should not be touched with tears of sorrow.”
Lorelei looked up into Storm’s gray-blue eyes, her own ocean blue eyes reflecting in them. She smiled at him and wrapped her arms around him.
“I could stay in this moment forever. Never leaving your side…I could be happy, right here in your arms…forever.” Lorelei said, suppressing a yawn.
Storm embraced her, smiling at her, noticing that she was tired. Smiling, he picked her up, cradling her in his arms.
“Come you are tired, let me take you home.” Storm said giving her a kiss on the forehead.
Lorelei nodded, and yawned, falling asleep in his arms. Storm smiled at her, wishing that he had more time, but feared that this might be the last time that he would be able to hold her…he was turning 18 on the next moon. Which was 3 days away. Storm walked quietly through the forest of which he came through. Making sure not to make her dress rip. He came on to a road, which he hoped would lead farther into town, but wasn’t sure if he should take a main road. Storm looked down to Lorelei and smiled, noticing the rather strong grip she had on his shirt. He continued walking, the voices of the towns folk getting louder as he walked on the road. A few minutes pasted, and Storm was coming nearer and nearer to the town. Not wanting to be stopped by any one, he took the trade route travelers sometimes took, to save time.
‘This ought to be the fastest way to your house, my angel.’ Storm thought to him self. He looked up into the night sky with no lights to dampen the stars shine it was a beautiful night. The Milky Way could be see stretching from horizon to horizon, and the constellations shown wonderfully. Wondering if he should wake her up, Storm took a detour off of the road, and walked to an old Oak tree that had seen many years. Setting Lorelei under the Oak, he crawled to the top to get a better view of the beautiful night sky. Looking back towards the town, he noticed faint traces of smoke in the air.
‘Hum, that’s odd…it’s not even close to fire season.’ Storm jumped back down to the ground, noticing that Lorelei was no longer in the spot he had set her in. Storm looked around, completely walking around the tree. Lorelei laughed silently to her self, sitting on the lowest branch of the tree, not wanting to worry him any further, she jumped down in front of him, giggling. Storm tried to look angry, but he couldn’t stay mad. Walking up to her, he wrapped his arms around her small figure and brought her close to him self.
“You worried me Angel…” Storm said sweetly into her ear.
“Mon prince, I will never be far from you.” Lorelei said blushing.
Storm again looked up, still detecting the smell of a fire close by. “We should be leaving now Lorelei, I don’t think that you are safe.” With that he took her hand and started walking.
‘Always so kind to me, caring about nothing else it seems but my safety.’ Lorelei thought to her self, tightening her grip on Storm’s hand she followed closely by his side. ‘Mon prince…’ She thought to her self again, letting Storm lead her off into the night.
