    GPU: 450Mhz
    Memory: DDR-1 425Mhz 256-bit 25+GBps
    CineFX 2.0 which has...
    Ultra Shadow Technology
    what does that means?

ok... the card by z-buffer after a long far value the card stops rendering shadows and very near or of screen doesn't render nothing...

and really the drop of 10% in the GPU is heavily compensated by the fact of the improvement of about 70% in the memory bandwidth (from 15+GBps to 25+GBps)

and that 10% in frequency of the GPU increases the GPUs yield in manufacturing... which nVIDIA is gonna make more profit from

and the fact that it's using DDR1 ram makes it cheaper to manufacture, and DDR2 needs cooling unlike the fact off DDR1 which doesn't.

nVIDIA opted for this heatsink, cause the original FXflow WAS a leaf blower, it was unbearable to the ear.

now the Geforce has a new heatsink with a much quieter fan offset to the left to evenly cool the GPU (when you put the fan in the middle it creates turbulences in the middle pratically cutting any cooling there thus creating a heat spot)

the memory has a passive heatsink that's ok, it's better than nothing... which the card require.

I have one of those, and it does the job for me. I'm not one for intense rendering or hi-res FPS tho', so I can't really fairly judge.

Wow, that thing is explosive! and I thought mine was one of the best out:

    Nvidia GeForce FX 5900:

    Graphics Core:256-bit
    Memory Interface:256-bit
    Memory Bandwidth:27.2GB/sc
    Fill Rate:3.6 billion texels/sec
    Vertices/sec.338 million
    Memory Data Rate:850MHZ
    Pixels per Clock (peak):8
    Textures per Pixel:16
    RAMDACs:400MHZ

And mine, the ATI Radeon 9700 series

    Graphics Core:128-bit
    Memory Interface:128-bit
    Fill Rate:1.1 billion texels/sec
    Vertices/sec:275 million
    Memory Data Rate: (DDR) 550MHZ
    DirectX 9 support

Some info from the Nvidia I havn't a clue of this one. So what do you think of it?

That's nice, unfortunately I heard the mighty Geforce FX 5900 couldn't outperform ATI's Radeon 9800 pro. FX 5900 ultra may have killed the Radeon 9800, but now that ATI plans to release the 256 DDR II Radeon 9800, the FX 5900 can't really compete. But only time will tell.

the ATI Radeon9800 beats somehow the 5900 in the 3dMARK03 tests....
Futuremark has found that BOTH ATI and nVIDIA cheats in those tests.

anyhow the 5900 rapes the 9800 in any real world test.. (personally are you gonna notice 310fps from 325fps?)

I have heard that rumor but yet... remains to be seen a R350 with DDR2
