    Warning: This thread might infect you with the Pinky Street Fever, a fever some of out celebrity mods have caught :p, I did too:D

    What are they?
    They are basically collectible figurines featuring interchangeable heads, body parts, clothing, and feet, all able to be mixed and matched in order to change their outfits.

    What so special about them?
    THEY ARE CUUUUUTE! :p

    Why is this thread in Shingetsutan Tsukihime board?
    I wanted to talk about the Arcueid figure.

    I've been crazy about it for a while, she's in the Pinky Street book I got with my #1 Repaint figurine. I've searched everywhere for her and could never find her.

    There are actually several cosplay figures of the Pinky Street. The Eva Rei and Asuka are easy to acquire, yet figurines of characters from Stellvia of the Universe, Arcueid... I'm so mad! look what I found! On top of not being able to buy Arcueid, look who else I probably won't be able to get! It Yomiko Readman!:http://www.tao-2.com/pictures/bilds/01/ but this is some Pinky knock-off I believe, but Arcueid is a really Vance/Baby Sue production.

    It seems Pinky is so popular, that cos of them are made quite a lot and not on the market. but that's absurd. :( (ya I'm right http://www.tao-2.com/index2.html scroll all way down the memo and information and you see people going crazy making these cosplay things)

    So all I know for sure is Arcueid, Rei and Asuka and this Animate firgure are official Baby Sue Pinkys (oh I don't know I went nuts a long time ago)

    Isn't Arcueid figure sold with the collaboration book?
    oh and That Yomiko Readman figure is cuuuute! T.T
    (I went nuts after pinky's haunted me 3 times, first in NewType magazine, then in Animenation, and finally here in Boards.jp) :D

    I wonder if this answers my question.

    It's interesting how Arcueid has two different paint jobs for her second body set. The silver and the colour.. I find that odd unless soem boxes are different. I'd be dissapointed if I would get a box with only the silver second body. Thanks for the links Suzu! In the first I found out when the other Pinkys are coming out :D

    Probably by the end of November... I'm not really sure... It seem that this figure will be release with a Stand BASE

    From what i gathered, the Arc that will be released soon is a repaint. If you want to compare the first release with the repaint release, here is a side-by-side picture of the two figures... I think the original is on the left and the repaint is on the right. What do you think of both figure's paint jobs?

    I like the original better. The repaint is just too blond to fit Arcueid, in my opinion.

    I prefer the repaint. Red/orange hair? On Arcueid? Just... doesn't work.

    :confused: You've got a point... Did I misread something? LOL! or not? I'm confused really... Why are there two paint job on Arc?! I don't want an orange haired Arcueid, I want the blond arc T.T ...
    *calm down Suzu* but I did read somewhere about repaint Arc
    Tokyo central confused me! Ahem... sorry about posting my assumptions and inaccurate information. My bad! :D

    Now I'm determined to know, why are there two paint jobs of Arcueid?
    Anyone understand anything or spots any hints?

    I'm a big fan of Tsukihime, and I think the Arcueid doll is really cute!

    As far as the repaint goes, I think it might look a little strange to be honest, but I'm not completely sure.

    I like the little stand that she comes on! Does anybody know if that comes standard?

    Aw... I wish I could answer that question... We can only hope lol!
    So far all we know is that this figure comes with the unpublished Tskuhime manga.

    Now that a look at both Arc paint jobs, I don't mind... both are cute!
