    Just came across this news-

This week in the UK, Turner Broadcasting Europe announced that it is launching CNX, a satellite TV station targetting 16-34 year old males. CNX will also feature Anime amongst its programming.

Turner Broadcasting Europe will be launching it's first new UK tv channel on October 14th. According to the press release: CNX will offer a mix of movies, live action and animated programming. "CNX is a pure entertainment play for the adult male audience," says Channel Manager, Richard Kilgarriff. "With a strong backbone of quality action, adventure and animé, CNX will stand out on the EPG, taking viewers to a new place that's slightly out of reach but totally theirs on TV."

Turner Broadcasting operates Cartoon Network, Boormerang, CNN and is a subsidiary of AOL Time Warner.

I'm hoping to get more Gundam out of this anyway, shows like Bebop and Outlaw Star may also be shown.

Hmm, it might just be Cartoon Network Xtreme :)

To my knowledge they don't have Kenshin, are you getting it confused with Inu Yasha which they're showing at the moment in the US?

There has been a online group called CNX for a long time but I don't think they have anything to do with the channel officially. Just a fan group basically.

That's great news... but is it a pay channel or a free one?

It's likely to be part of the standard package, ie free.
I can't see a point in making a channel like that subscription.

Saw an ad for it on Cartoon Network today...this disturbs me. If it is aimed at adolescent males, and they are showing the ads on the kids channels..more than likely they're gonna show kiddyish shows...hope to christ its not all Dragonball Z :/
