    And thats an under statement.

Who can say that they never at one played with or collected pokemon? Well, very few. That time has passed but yet the Pokemon industry continues to preoduce new editions of cards, new video games, New movies. . .GAHHH. :dizzy2:

And i addmitt, in the begging those early eddition pokemon products were all pretty cool. Now it seems they should stop. . . the pokemon craze has ended and the demand has gone into a slump. So why do they continue? It just gets annoying. Its one of those things of knowing when to stop. Its like all the Die Hard movies XP

Does anyone else agree with me?

I've never been suckered in to any of these card games, although I did inherit M:TG cards and I came by some Pokemon card at one point (a long story involving a bag of marshmallows). I did, however, and do play the Pokemon games. I only bought one of them; the rest were either borrowed or played on the computer, so I can't really say that I've spent much money on this.

The games are entertaining. I do think the cards, merchandise and movies are getting pretty ridiculous though. I've never been a fan of the show or the card game. In fact...I pretty much hate it.

    The vidoe games are addictive....

Pokemon is still very popular in japan. That's why new things are created.

Also, it's still very popular with childrne here. Maybe you haven't noticed it because you are not a kid, but apparently Pokemon is the second most watched children's cartoon in the States (Yu-Gi-Oh being the first. that too has died down a bit, but is still going hard strong). And hey, they seirously WOULD NOT bring that stuff over if their wasn't a demand for it. It's not a large demand, but it's a DEMAND non the less. They're selling them to someone.

Anbd the new game kicks booty. Seriously. I like the contests. ^^ Your pkoemon get judged on beauty and grace and power and stuff. XD And you can scare the crap out of the other contestants. XD

I never succumbed to the card game (I gave in to Yu-Gi-Oh for a month or two and wasted away way too much of my life with Magic). However I love the Pokemon video games (at least the GB/GBA ones), and I can't wait to get my hands on Fire Red/Leaf Green. XD

I only played the games. The GB games (and also GBA ofcourse) were addictive, and still fun to play right now.
But the new GBA Pokémon additions (I mean the creatures, not the game. Finally Team Rocket has been banned!) are far from appealing. They don't like interesting any longer, just.. WEIRD! And they all got terrible names too.
The gameplay did improve, but the characters got weird...

The N64 games? They were.. fun to play at first, seeing the skills and monsters in 3D was a nice thing. But it kept repeating itself with little depth.
The double speeded gameboy "emulator" you could win in the game was also really fun. Especially since you could receive ALL three starting Pokémon from Blue/Red in the very beginning that way. I was happy with that =)
Stadium 2 was more interesting since the new monsters got quite a beef in graphical state, and the backgrounds looked great as well. It started to get SORT of a story (oh no, Team Rocket showed up during the gym conquest! EBIL!) but it was still not perfect.

The cardgame? Never touched it. Well not literally, I did hold the cards of my cousin in my hand... But I never played with or collected the cards. Same goes for other merchandising products (except for a Pikachu plushie then.)

I agree. The GB games are adicctive. I also play Pokemon Stadium for N64. Those games are fun. I also agree that the cards have gone too far. I bet the creator(s) don't even know what to draw anymore.

While I agree that the Pokémon phenomenon is no longer as innovative as it once was, I do still enjoy the various GB games. (I've only got Red, Blue, Gold, and Silver, though, not the newer ones. Used to have Yellow, but gave it and my GB Pocket to a friend. XD)

I do think the card game has gotten a bit desperate. I mean, come on - do people actually have that e-reader thing? o_O I miss the days when there were just a few series out, when I could pwn people with a commons-and-cheap-cards-only Haymaker deck when I was hanging around the card shop after school. XD Hey, it was something to do.

    I definetly agree.
It's like digimon. It goes on and on.
New pokemon, rivals, new Brock and Misty.
    I bet they replace Ash.

Heheh, yeah. Back in the days of old Pokemon TCG, my Haymaker deck scored a 23-win streak before a Blastoise (named after whatever power it had. Rain Dance?) deck got lucky on me.
