FLCL Poll: Who thinks FLCL should have been longer?

Hey guys....I just saw the rest of FLCL....and honestly I think that it should have been longer.............oro......

 

Well, I don't think either of the options there accurately reflect my view. Sure, if it was more of the same outstanding quality, I would have really liked more, but then again, I really like it as it is. I enjoyed every single second of it, everything about it, and I really liked the ending. If it was longer, I think there may be a chance of it's greatness being obscured somewhat. So, either one.

 

I was hoping for a movie. Turns out the 'movie' section on Ganiax's english page was a bad translation of something, there never was going to be one

I think the length was fine. A bit more would have been nice, but for the OAV series itself, 6 worked.

 

I dont know if it should be or not because BMS only showed me half ..I wanna see more!

 

No, I don't think there should be more. But they *should* make a movie, because the ending left some a little confused/disapointed.

 

As much as I would like more, in the end I think the short length was perfect. It let Gainax focus on making it look great, and use the Pillows' music to perfection: just the right amount, without too much repitition. (related gripe: why does the music seem quieter on CN?)

A movie would have been a fine addition. There are new Pillows albums to use, and they really could have made it look good. Curse thouse bad translations

I saw someone mention the bad translation of 'movie' oin Gainax's site, and responded to it. Imagine my surprise when I realized it was myself I was responding to. Oops.

 

Great show!(Came to adult swim about 2-3 weeks ago.) If it could have gone on with the same comidy, and not be repetitive
<-(sp) that would have been great.

 

I thought the ending was perfoct the way it is! It was awsome. Well, besides the fact that neither of the two chick stayed byhind with Poor Nouta(Takune?)

Yeah, they only have 6 episodes and i've seen it 3 times.
I think they should make the FLCL episode longer.

I agree with most of it...I think they should have made it atlease 10 episodes long... but a movie...THAT WOULD BE COOL!!! ^__^ heh

About the movie-
There's rumor there may be one, I guess we'll have to just keep checking the Gainax site. FLCL is fine just the way it is. We just want MORE!

Yea. I think it should be longer. I think the movie idea is a good one. It should be about Haruko and that Abelisk guy/thing. I wanna know what's up with them and why she's after him.

Are you talkin about the Pirate King? Cuz if you are, the reason why she is after him, is cuz she fell in love with him...even thou they are enemys...she feel inlove with him.....

I thought t'was perfect the way it came. There was nothing more to be added, the storyline ended without filler and it left you wanting for more as any production would. If it were extended, it wouldn't have been the same. The six frantic action packed episodes fitted a lot more in terms of enjoyment than most series have in 52.

Besides, there's nothing more to tell in terms of storyline. Unless the pirate king comes back or something, which would be trés lame. It ended elegantly, so ya should leave it.
