So, if you are a pool fan, do tell what's your favorite type

Mine has to be Snooker. Great games, and it's so much tactics during a single frame. Another favorite is the traditional US Pool.

 

Got to be good ol' snooker. Ronnie 'Rocket' O'Sullivan won the World Championship a month or so ago. He is one hell of a player, totally in control of his 18-8 finals win against Graeme Dott.

Fact: He also holds the world record for fastest 147 clearance in just 5 minutes and 20 seconds!

Yeah, Ronnie O'Sullivan > Best Snooker player ever...He won the World Championship this year, with a frame set total of 32. Now that's freaking alot of frames to play.

 

Haven't played snooker in a long time, i used to go with my dad down to the snooker club and he'd teach me some of the basic's. I was never really that good but he'd sometimes let me win if i was ever having a bad day at the game.

Most of my friends don't really like to play snooker cause it takes to long to finish. Although i do like to have a good few games of pool every now and again. Well actually i plaied my first game of pool in a year on Tuesday, and it was a good feeling getting back into it. I sometimes have my good days where i'm able to pot a few balls and win a couple of games, and then there are other times when i just can't seem to pot anything. Last Tuesday was one of my good ones cause i managed to win 2 games.

Anyway, i was wondering if anyone knows the name og the game where there are only 3 balls on the table (the white, and 2 coloured balls for the players), and there are no pockets on the table. I remember playing it in my cousins house once, and i was actually pretty good at it and it was a lot of fun. Now that was a game where you had to use tactic's.

 

Oh that game, we played it at school once. Really fun...can't recall the name of the game.

9ball is fun too, a game that goes pretty fast, and sometimes lucky if you manage to put the nine ball in the hole on you first break shot

 

Heh, thats actually a pain in the *** if you have to pay €1 evertime to get the ball out, lol. If you end the game in one shot then most people are not going to be happy bunnies.
