Recipes Pork Fried Rice (6 portions)

    beef 1.00 lb
    egg 4.00 ea
    oil 4.00 fl oz
    rice, white, short grain 4.00 lb
    salt .00 to taste
    scallions 3.00 oz
    soy sauce 4.00 fl oz
    vegetables 1.00 lb

    1. Break up the rice to remove all lumps.

    2. Cook the fried rice in several batches, depending on the size of the pan or wok. Do no more than 1-2 lb (½-1 kg) rice at once.

    3. Heat a small amount of oil in the wok. Add the meat and stir-fry for a minute or two.

    4. Add the scallions and stir-fry for a minute.

    5. Add any raw vegetables and stir-fry until almost done.

    6. Add the rice and stir-fry until it is hot and lightly coated with oil.

    7. Add any cooked vegetables and mix in.

    8. Add soy sauce, if used, and salt.

    9. Add beaten egg and mix in. Stir-fry lightly to cook the egg, then serve.

    TIP....

    2-get a person to help you out in dumping the stuff in the wok/skillet
