Computers post your desktop here

Looks nice Teddz, but your start button is no longer in the corner.. ugh (Fitts' Law, look it up if necessary).

That wouldn't be a problem in litestep, with its popup menu anywhere on the desktop, like the edges. (this really wasn't meant to be a plug for litestep. Perhaps there are progs that let you do that with explorer?)

 

Here's my Desktop.

Running Programs: Winamp, Internet Explorer, MSN Messenger, Izztant Messenger and TorrentStorm (The TorrentStorm Icon is purposedly hidden.)

Notice the little "Menu" button. That's my start button

 

right.. and like I said, it is no longer in the corner, a gross violation of Fitts' Law You can no longer throw your mouse to the extreme bottom left to click on it, but have to aim for a small area just above the bottom left. Your start (menu) button's practical size has been reduced from infinite to 46*15 pixels.

Same principle that makes Macintosh's menus easier to hit. No biggie, just a slight useability issue

My brother wanted "Corporate Tiger Shere Khan" and I wanted Naru-kun, so we compromised.

 

Well, since I'm not using my computer, I can't give you my desktop, but here's my wallpaper. Just so you know, I use good old-fashioned Windows 95.

Well I was gonna attach it but mine is to large so I guess I will attach my wallpaper instead.

And now for something a little different: a shot of my actual phsyical "desktop." Yes, it is a carpeted floor with a stair. Some furniture would be nice I guess.

You can also make out my wallpaper a bit. It's a pic of Arcueid of Tsukihime, one I got from our own Arcueid a while back.

The book is in there because.. well, someone wanted to see a pic of it so I'm klling a couple birds with one stone
