I loathe it when people go around and insult people for who they are, I've had some people try to do that to me but I just laugh it off... I really think that more people at school make fun of me than I know ^^; If they don't like me or anyone else because we are different then that's their loss.

I remember once I was in the cafeteria, and my high school has like 2000 students, and I put on Final Fantasy music instead of the constant rap that they always play. I was really surprised that a lot of people were cheering since they are FF fans, but still tere were those who were saying "what's up with this fusion music?!?!" They didn't even know what fusion is!

i think this thread is mean and pointless sure there are awful people in the world and we all wont get along with everyone else but that gives us no right to sink to "their level" and bash on them as well (if they bash on us) plus you are all being stereotypical not all "preps" are jerks as you describe and just because someone wears a certain type of clothes does not make them different from anyone else! i can understand why you may be upset with a certain person or group of people who have hurt you in some fashion but that doesnt mean you can go all grr at everyone who dresses or puts about a certain aura like them... and just because someone doesnt know what fusion is doesnt mean we should hate them!! so much anger in the world today *runs off crying*

i dont like preps either. i think they are the same everywhere. i do the worst crap and nothing happens, and they usually do have money. i hate them to. they are like a plague on this planet. im pretty sure they make fun of people because it makes their small pitiful souls feel better. they make fun of me alot, and im just like "f*ck you" and i give them the finger.

It's just that those kind of people say they're nice and stuff and you can go talk to them. And when you have one of them in your course and go talk to them they snob you.

 

Izzy brings up a good point about getting under the skin though, people nowadays r just getting weak, time to tughen up life is hard u get used to it or you will fail.

 

I think I will stick to just saying my list it will keep me off of this bridge I have had prep fruends un the past but most I dont like and clothing doesn;t effect thier attitude

You are oh so right. This thread is pointless.... Ever think the reason why preps hat you is because you hate them? Everyone needs to get along!!!

Preps suck! They are so f*cking ignorant, and they use that word, and when I ask them what it means, they say it means to be RUDE. It means to be without knowledge of something.
GOD.
Plus they make fun of me and anyone else who has some creativity.
So, to sum it up, if you act like yourself and be yourself, you will be made fun of by preps.
I wouldn't mind them so much if they were a little more open minded to other people's opinions and style.
Examples: In my cafeteria, the only thing that plays ALL DAMN day is rap and annoying pop. Courtesy of preps.
We had to dissect a worm (IT HAD BEEN LONG DEAD) and this prep girl pipes up, "EW! IT MIGHT BITE ME!"
They tell me my tie is non-uniform (which is true, but I'm allowed to wear it) and they're wearing non-uniform sweaters and pants (which is NOT allowed.)
They think they can be the next american idol thing (they've bragged to me about it) and when i hear them sing, my ears start bleeding.

I am not nearly as hateful to any other group in the school. I don't mind the other groups. We get along.

 

Heheheh! At my high school I often fantasized about beating up some preppy peeps. (And I actually could since I learned street fighting techniques in martial arts class--I was only 13-16 years old when I trained in the adult class.)

You know what the cool thing is? I ignored them and thought "just watch...sooner or later they're gonna screw up their lives cuz they're so spoiled." And now while we're in college, I find out that the preps have all these issues with their parents, a few of the preps are into drugs now, and some are even dropping out of college! Good for them!

My curse worked.

 

How come everybody always talks like these "preppy" kids are gonna do terrible, be huge failures or get awful jobs when they leave high school?

And most people have issues with their parents, most people try drugs and a heck of a lot of people drop out of college. Their's nothing wrong with any of those things.

It just seems to me like one group is as bad as the other.

 

once at my school the preps wrote a poem about how much they hate the punks and goths and signed it "The Preps""

 

heheh at least they got a sense of humour.

 

I'm still on the side of the preps. I'm in no way, shape, or form a prep, but I'm not all against them just because they won't talk to me like you guys are.

They're just like us and I'm sure they don't like being picked on either.... Why keep it going?
