Sailor Moon Pretty Guardian Sailormoon Announced

Sounds interesting. Very interesting. Gonna have to check to see if anyone else has news on this. BUT... if they butcher it! I'm gonna shake the hell outta somebody!

 

There are some pictures out now of the actresses in costume.
Has anyone ever seen Sera-Myu? In that, the outfits are really embellished. They add all kinds of weird sequins and ruffles and the outfits really look shiny. From the pictures I've seen of the TV show, the outfits look like they did in the manga.

Examples: What's red on Sailor Moon's outfit in the anime is more like a dark pink.

When Mars first shows up, she has a charm in the center of the piping above her skirt; Venus actually wears the Love Chain around her waist; Mercury's outfit is closer to turquoise and there are no sleeves.

WOW! ^____^ I love the ladies in the picture. ^_^ Wowiesness. So exciting! ...now if only we could get a hand on tapes of the series. ^_~

I'm looking foward to this. But, like other live actions, I wonder how they plan on doing certain things.

 

Anyone have a picture or any news on the two cats (and possibly the other little kitten)? Please tell me that they are going to leave them in this new series.

 

I hear that Luna is going to be played by a talking stuffed cat. According to the official "press release". I'm still awaiting further details on the other cats...

In the manga, Mamoru was only in high school by the time the senshi had appeared; the anime bumped him up to college. His (Jyoji) being born in 1983 means he's college-age. Is this some possible proof they will be following the anime storyline after all?

 

I saw the first episode yesterday. The Opening is addicting, Sailormoon, Sailormercury and Sailorjupiter are very pretty. It's a bit different from the Series, seeing Sailormoon already wields the Moon Stick and performs Moon Healing Escalation.

Overall, It's good. I can't wait to see more.

The Attack Sequences and Transformation Scenes aren't that bad. They're somewhat corny, but that's a given. This isn't an anime.

 

Yeah, I've been hearing about bittorent. Well, I have this site that translated the first eppie sorta, I could give you the link, if it'd help you any now ^^v I find it funny how they actually made Luna a stuffed animal.

 

I nearly died laughing when I saw Luna was a plushie.. It just looks pathetic, really.

 

Yeah, now the villians have excuses for not recognizing them. "I didn't know Usagi was sailor Moon! sailor Moon's hair is blonde and Usagi's is black like all the other 100% NORMAL JAPANESE GIRLS!!!" XD XD

I think Venus is really pretty, just not in that opening. X(

Lol, I just thought of an odd concept for really weird Sailor Moon fans that claim they'll be Senshi someday... They're already releasing toys of Luna in japan that look identical to the stuffed one in the show... I can picture little kids and oddballs throwing these plushies int he air and then when they land exclaim "OH MY GOD! IT'S LUNA, HERE TO GIVE ME MY SENSHI POWERS!!!" XD XD

 

Hello Hello, I am new here!!! but I am a huge Sailor moon fan!!!!!

I've seen everything from sailor V manga to all the sailor movies and now the sailor moon live show!!!

So far I've seen every sailor moon live show ep's there are, and they are great! I am glad with how they handle the transformation and CGs!!! I love Ami in it!!!!! Not alot of people know tho, the girl who is playing Naru (usagi's red hair friend) is actually one of the original actresses who play in the sailor moon musical!! (she was Ami)!!!

Anyway!!! I am excited to tell everyone what I like about this show and what I don't like!! (short of breath!!!) its ok....(whew)

Before I post more about the show in the future, I must say how I am impress by the plot! That's right! While the characters are modeled after the manga series (meaning Usagi is not as big an air head as in the anime, Sailor V actually is a more mature leader like in the mangga), but the plot has new twists!!!!

While the relationships between all the characters we all grow to love remain the same, the way they are expressed in the SG live show is different! Most noticable difference from manga/anime plot is the appearence sequence of the sailor senshi's! That is right! It appears that Sailor Jupitor makes an appearence of the show much earlier than the anime! Remember back then when people complained little story plot was devoted to Mako-chan?! those days are gone! With an earlier appearence, the show will explore things about Mako that is not well explored in the previous sailor moon shows!!! for example, the fiendship of Mako and Rei! That's right! If you remember, Make and Rei did not form much of a bond in manga/anime, but they will in this SG live show; as both of them will be featuring the next esp of SG live show esp. 8 (air tmr)!!!

I will stay tuned until then, will you? hehehehe

And I also don't understand how she got that crown. She's NOT the Princess.

 

so.. is it good or not. overall? I only saw a bit of the first episode. I may get forced to watch more. what am I in for?
