    ohh my ...:bleed2: we sure have alot of talented members here at m2a .... hey ...you drew that with your hand? and scanned it...kewl... :p i must say..its much faster if you draw with your hand and then scan it ..and then let the computer do the coloring ....pretty amasing what the result is...just look at my avator.. i just scetched it and scanned it..and ..ya .. colored it with my adobe ...and then yay!! what a amasing product :p:p

    Well almost any one who wants to make a good vid will use Adobe Premiere like I do. Check out the vids I have made here www.michaelmanga.20m.com and if you want any CC on your vids or some tips I'll be happy to help.

    Theres a way where you can rip right from your computers DVD player but I could never get it to work, you have to down load a lot of programs and is more trouble then it's worth. So I went to Best Buy and got a $65 capture card USB connection( http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=11081062&m=488&cat=521&scat=1751 ) and just run a S-Video cable or regular video wire from the card to the the DVD player and hit record that easy I have made two videos with that meathod here thay are http://michaelmanga.20m.com/AMVs/Shadow Game.zip

    There not 100% DVD quality but it still good. I hope this helps

    If you want to make videos you have to have a lot of space on your Hard Drive an avg. video will take up 4 gigs before commpresson.

    You can also use Ulead's Video Editor too. I'm going to be using for my as of yet, unstarted AMV project. I need a new desktop first though!!! Laptop's too...uhh..."old" for the power that I need/want. You can look into Ulead. Personally, I recommend it over Premier...well, since I don't really like Premier.

    Premiere is the best out there in my book but if your running Mac Final Cut Pro is an exallent program with tons of features and a learning curve that not to steep but there are lots out there a few examples
    Personal Studio
    VideoWave
    Pinnacle Studio
    Vegas Video (On par with Premiere)
    MediaStudio Pro
    Windows Movie Maker (It's free with XP but it's really crappy)

    Well there you have it most of thoses programs cost a lot of $$$ and are real hog on your processer if your not running at least 1.5 Ghz or higher these programs will crash now and then so save often.
    I feel a real need to help others with AMVs cuse' when I first started I had to learn every thing my shelf and most ppl in the AMV communty aren't very helpfull and some times down right mean, check out this site www.animemusicvideos.org theres a ton of info and a message board but be fare warned if you post a vid there you'll get a lot of heat if it's not good I know first hand :p and your fist vid should never be a DBZ video there are to many out there unless you think you have a good idea.

    ohhh ya ...now that's what i'm talking about...u people r great :bleed: .... so...watch out you anime videos..here comes the master!! whoehahahha !! ....(KAY I"M READY FOR MY FISRT ANIMEMUSICVIDEO) ..oh wait... i'll ask my dad to buy me a O.S pentium 4 ..with a lot of space...just for my vids ...cool!! :p thanks for the tips...i think i'll use adobe premiere...cause ii got that one on cd !! no trial.. :p:p

    When you get your first AMV done make sure to post it and if you need help with web space I can host it on my site, one last tip Get Divx to commpress your videos.
