It's new PSX. But not avaliable now. I think in Fall 2004 or Summer 2005.

Why? That's all I have to say. Wasn't the PSOne that last real change we needed (if we even needed that at all).

Heh, I created a thread of the PSX myself a few months ago.

But, the PSX was made with the higher-standard of living in mind. I saw these while in Japan, and the retail was around $600 for the lower end model.

A higher end model comes with a bigger HDD.

Anyway, every PSX comes with a disc-feeding insert, HDD, a DVD-Burnder (Japanese Market only), ethernet card, and TiVO.

Well, that's a horse of a different colour, then. I thought it was just a remodelling job.

Even if it was a remodelling job, it looks good ;)

PSX plays PSX games and not PS2. PS2 plays both.
Wouldn't it make more sense to make upgrades for the PS2 than to just keep rehashing the same old hunk of junk over and over again? I mean, the PSX was great when it came out, but that was like what, 1995?

I believe this PSX is different to the earlier PSX. This one seems to be more of a multimedia player (DVD,TV, Broadband etc) as well as game console able to play PS1 and PS2 games.... Read this artcile from this site. Seems rather good actually.

Actually, yeah. The PSX gets its designation because it looks cool.

It has no affiliation with the original model PlayStation, which really was nomered PSX because "PS" sounded like crap.

I thought I went over this already....

My thug friends said that PSX not good for big system. They are thought that PSX is cool small system. But I felt little cool system. So it not bad. I guess PSX copy by XBOX system, i think so...
