Pullips are dolls created by Korean company Chunsang Chunha and marketed by Japanese company, JUN Planning.

Pullips are in high popularity along with Blythe and Dolfie
Japanese dolls. Collectors consist of people all over the world and of different ages, both gender.

Pullips first came onto the scene in 2003, they are 12 inch dolls with
oversized heads. They have eye mechanisms allowing their eyes to move left, forward or right, and buttons to allow the dolls to wink, (yet I haven't figured out if there is a way to keep them winking).

Here is a complete visual list of all 12" Pullips made, upcoming releases and even those cancelled:

There have been 3 body types issued so far, and since Arietta, all dolls are now wigged instead of having rooted hair.

The first body type: Moon to Withered: They have many visible screws.

The second body type: Venus to Summer Purezza: Has no visible screws and has a soft squishy torso, out of all 3 types, they have the biggest feet and their hands and feet are detachable.

The third body type: Smaller than the first 2, hands and feet don't come
off, feet are the smallest as well of the body types, only a few screws visible upper torso/neck.

Pullips are highly customizable, wigs are changed, eyes are changed, makeup is removed or retouched. The bodies are compatible with Barbie clothes, Takara Jenny, Azone and Lollipop girls.

In January 2005, Mini Pullips were created as well, some based off a popular 12 inch Pullip.
