Polls Quake or Unreal ?

Ok...i don't where to post this one...Video Games or Polls....

But Anyway, Do you prefer Unreal Or Quake ?

I prefer the Quake games more than Unreal. Just because I've played Quake I for so many times now...and it's one of my alltime favorite game...

I've only played Unreal 1 and Quake 1 and must say that between those I choose Unreal

I would say unreal....thats my game!!!

 

Unreal has a much more refined feel to it, IMO.

Unreal2... blarg. Pretty but pointless.

I like quake better than unreal simply because it has a better multiplaya mode

Quake: Deathmatch. Team Deathmatch. Capture the Flag.

... thats it for Quake.

Unreal: Deathmatch. Team Deathmatch. Capture the Flag. Domination. Assault. Mutators.

Then theres all the easy to install mods and maps. Hell, theres even racing and starfighter mods.

what i meant when i said quake has better multiplayer is that i like the levels a lot better than the ones in unreal

 

Without giving reasons why its better? Yes.

Personally, I prefered Unreals level designs due to sheer variety. You can have "indoor" and "outdoor" AND "mix" maps, while in the Quake engines, the vast vast VAST majority is indoor. Additionally, Unreal has more variety in terms of looks.

 

I have only played URC for XBOX live it was cool but they all get boring after playing for 7 hours straight

 

Pure nostalgia vote here..... days of playing Quake in the DCU summer camps..... heaven. I rocked with the rocket launcher, too.

 

quake is funnier, atleat i think so......ther eis a movie u can download from kazaa its a guy who is clearing the whole quake 1 in 12 minutes..now thats cool

 

Unreal LOOKS better yes.. Plays better not realy.

Quake's guns are more evened out.. where in Unreal 2003 unless you hit someone dead one with the rocket luncher or Lightning gun you can be running after them for ages...

But that does make a nice chalenge.. But at least in Quake if your laged , you still have a good chance at coming out on top.. where in Unreal if you are laged.. you might as well give up..

I like unreal only for the One Shot insta kill multy player games..Quake is nice and Fast pase.

Yes, I've played Q3. Decent, but I much prefer UT.

Arena just felt uninspired. Pretty, but uninspired. Same old **** with pretty graphics.

I don't give a **** about graphics.

 

I like both of them. Unreal Tournament had an ingenious AI compared to Quake 3's (which only seemed moderate), plus the graphics ran smoother and variation in gameplay was really sweet. However, Quake 3 had a less intense feeling to it (which didn't take away from the gameplay, it made it better somehow). I also loved the maps, plus the fact that you can have walking eyeballs fighting gigantic aliens (character design is really lacking in Unreal Tournament). But darn it, the Mini-gun rocks! I'll frag whatever comes my way with that thing (I hated the rocket launcher, only bonus I could see was the lock on rocket). Laterz!
