Music Queens to the Stone Age

alright this is for the ppl that know or dont know the qotsa. how many bands today have lost their way ,have sold out ,have gone mainstream but this is no ordinary band no ,you need to check them out. songs for the deaf one of the best albums of last year,and are touring with the Lollapalooza tour this year. but see many bands claim to be all hardcore and this and that. but them they dont have to they just are and they are on a mission to help the musicaly undernourished that have lost touch with what true rock really sounds like and means. thats all i got

 

how come their name starts with queens shouldn't it be kings of the stone age. they gay?this is not a insult.

 

i doubt that they are gay, especially if you see any of their videos. Especially "Go With The Flow". Quite the perverse group there. i happen to own Songs for the Deaf. They have 2 other albums, by the way, one being called "Rated R"(or maybe just "R".....i dunno) and the other being self-titled. They're ok, as a group, and their music sounds very different on their new cd, from the first song(too lazy to spell that one out), "Songs for the Dead", and others like "First it Giveth" and "No One Knows". And, if anyone noticed, Dave Grohl of Nirvana/Foo Fighters fame plays drums on the "No One Knows" track.

Edit: If i'm mistaken, their is another band called Monster Magnet that who i *think* is QOTSA without Josh Homme(vocalist). i like Monster Magnet better.

Well, i answered one of your questions. i told you they were't gay, but i didn't know the answer to the otherquestion, so i decided not to say anything about it. Thanks to Mad_Hamish for telling us.

 

There video deffiniteley proves their straightness. that chick is hot even though can't see her that good. those of you who've seen the video know what i'm talking about!!!
