Watase Yuu Works Question about Miaka.

I've never seen Fushigi Yugi, or read the manga. If I ever get a chance to, I would see and/or read it.
Anyway, I've heard about Miaka's downside a lot. Is she really that annoying? Just very curious.

 

She can be at time's. Well most time's. If she's havign problem's she's really not. And if it's a serious moment she's not. Unless she's trying to lighten the mood. So i'd say I rather like her character. But you don't need to take what I say seriously because i've only read volume 1&2 of the manga and haven't even seen the anime. ^_^

 

Well I have 1&2 vol of the manga and seen up to episode 13 or 14. I also saw the 3rd OAV.

Miaka can be annoying at time. She also got a habit of eating everything on the table, so that's probably annoying (to the seishi). She usually end up getting everyone in big trouble, but it probably not her fault. Don't listen to me, 'cuz I'm probably wrong.

 

yes she is that annoying. and nothing, i mean nothing, spoils that girls appetite. i quote:

yes Miaka is that annoying. I have all the manga out right now and she just gets more and more annoying through the series (she kind of reminds me of myself). Man...ive gotta work on that.

 

Actually I like Miaka's character ^^ I dont see her annoying at all ^^
she sure clumsy & Love eating even in the worset situation :sweat: but she is only a teenage girl who happen to be sucked into this other world ! while her main concern back then was "The entrance exams :sweat2: " so she faces lots of new challanges, War, her bestfriend problem, and the fact that she is in love with a guy in the Book! ^^

 

I find Miaka incredibly annoying, and I think it's worse in the anime(seen all of it more than once) than the manga. You start liking her a little then you realize just how dumb she really is. She's selfish, not to bright, and oblivious to other's feelings.

 

On the 'oblivious to others feelings note', remember how she kept getting caught with Hotohori? If I didn't know better, I would have thought she was doing that on purpose to hurt Nuriko!

 

About Miaka

I know this may be a little late about answering your question on Miaka Yuuki but unlike half the people replying I have seen every ova, episode, and read all the mangas on Fushigi Yuugi and Miaka is NOT annoying. I don't care if your going to flame me after this because I wont be here to read it, I'm only posting once. But I hate people who say Miaka Yuuki is annoying, it's just like people who say Tohru Honda is. They are the NICEST people on any ****in' anime... Miaka always suffers because of totally dickwad Tamagayass who cheats on her, breaks her arm, breaks her heart, and breaks up with her because someone told him too. Miaka Yuuki gets hyper and dorky but she only does it to cheer her friends up because she is loyal. Yui Hongo so easily decided to go against her friend Miaka who really never abandoned Yui in the first place, and through everything she did to Miaka, Miaka still wanted to be her friend. So, to each their own but Miaka is not annoying, she is a caring character. Who gives a fack if she eats a lot? That's a lame reason to dislike someone/an anime character. Miaka is caring, honest, loyal, and kind and she does NOT jump between Hotohori and Tamahome. I believe the only time she got close with Hotohori is when Tamahomo broke up with her and turned evil on his own stupid account of letting Yui kiss him. u.u; Personally, she should have gone with Ryuuen/Nuriko or Kou/Genrou/Tasuki.

Yea your ****ing stupid, once you have a good reason to hate her and dislike her i'll believe you but why dont you come up with some facts before you go *****in' about false accounts on Miaka. Miaka is not selfish not ONE of her Suzaku wishes was spent on her, they were all spent on other people NONE where spent for her own benefit. She's not bright but thats not what makes a person her loyalty makes up for it. How can you say shes oblivious?! She felt bad for everyone of the suzaku seishi people, goddamnit I hate flamers like you who don't know **** about what yer talking about.

Wasn't it Hotohori who kept getting her alone and on the bed and other places like that? I KNOW Miaka went in there to tell him that Nuriko loved him and that its good to know someone loves you. She didn't run in there and go "Hey hahahaha I'm Miaka I love Tamahome but I'm going to **** around with you" Jesus christ I'm sure most of you that hate her, hate her cause she's with TAMAHOME who is so ****in' gay.

 

Eh, Miaka can be annoying a good deal of the time, but she's not all that bad. She's got her good moments too. Thing is, she was set up to be the teen heroine, and in a soap opera/drama/comedy-type anime, that means she's a hyper, flighty character a lot of the time. *shrug*

Oh, and Princess Ishtar... Lay off the flames. Your immature and outright rude behavior is not appreciated.

 

No offense, but I've seen every bit of Fushigi Yuugi also. And I could care less that Miaka is with Tamahome. I have my own obsession, his name is Tasuki. And it is my opinion but she shouldn't have put herself into those situations in the first place.

Also, what does my liking of Shampoo have to do with Fushigi Yuugi or Miaka?

 

Hmm...I find Miaka ok...she's actually really funny :anime: but if I knew a real live Miaka---it'd be...so...ANNOYING....but you see the thing is I don't so I find everything funny...but I keep wondering how does she never get fat with all the amount of food that she eats?

Well...Miaka is like Usagi from Sailor Moon, they are that ditsy, clumsy, annoying characters but you love them.

 

Miaka always wanted to be a part of her adventure to make her wishes and dreams come true. For someone who was only 15, to be stressed going though her troubles of passing her tests to get into Jonan Acadamy and then to go though the all her trials and trubles she underwent in the Universe of the Four Gods. She really must've gone though alot and I could understand why she came off a little confusing or annoying, I think it's fairly typical for a girl her age to be in such stress about everything. Even so, Miaka was so brave and strong as well as very sweet, and she really cared for her friends no matter what.

I loved her romantic side and I loved her courage for what she did as a priestess of Suzaku, she underwent so many tasks as a priestess and her strong will to protect really made me admire her even more. She might have been a klutz sometimes but most of the time I thought she was just so cute, but it's actually quite normal for someone her age as I mentioned before.

As much as people don't seem to like Miaka and Tamahome being together, I actually thought they made a great couple, and I say that because of the way they interacted together as they began to fall in love little by little, and that great chemistry they had, it was something so special.

 

It's not FY without Miaka, she's the heroine! Yes she can be annoying at times, but other time she's just funny. She's pretty too...
Wouldn't girls become envious and jealous when they see another girl such as Miaka SURROUNDED with BISHONEN XD? no? Tamahome, Tasuki, Nuriko, Hotohori etc...
