    For the new movie "Electra" is Electra from Daredevil the movie??
    That's what my brother said.
    But I'm not sure he's telling the truth.
    I thought it might be because in the commercial it says "...from daredevil..."
    or it's "....the daredevil...".
    I didn't hear it right.

    The commercial says "She fought to the death in DareDevil...", so I would assume so.

    You are quite correct. I think the movie plot goes something like, she gets ressurected or something like that. Believe me, the Electra comics werent that good. So i dont think the movie will make up for the comics.

    I thought the Elektra comics were pretty good...for a B character. She's not a SUPER hero/villain. Thus, her comics were always a little bit of the backend of Marvel's creativity. Though, I heard her FIRST miniseries comics from the early 90's were great.

    As an ex Marvel fan, I would say, yes. It's the same Elektra from daredevil. The story behind her is pretty ''funny'', but I won't spoil it :)

    Do you have to watch Daredevil to understand Electra or would it be helpful to watch it?

    Anyone who sees this movie will regret it. Only Catwoman is a more disgraceful comic book film.

    Yea, but come on? ELECTRA? I think they were running out of ideas. Why not make something someone would go watch, like DareDevil 2. I do kinda wanna see what happened to Bullseye...

    It was a pity about the lack of popularity of the daredevil movie, in my opinion the production was superior to the spiderman movies despite a lesser budget

    Electra didnt seem too bad as i said in another post it seemed to be orientated towards 14 year old girls

    But of course i havent read any of the daredevil or electra comics (and i doubt i'll make the effort on the electra ones -_-)
