    he was recruited under Katsura Kogorou at the age of 14. he served from the age of 14 to the age of 18.

    Yeah Gensai kinda answeed the question...how can i add?....ummm yeah he left behind the life of an assassin at 18 and became a rurouni to repent for all of the lives he took during the revolution. But he started at 14. Being recruited by Katsura Kogorou himself...yeha...^_^

    i can't believe it! Kenshin became an assaisian at age 14!
    so if he quit being an assaisain at age 18...when did he meet
    Tomoe Yukishiro?more or less what age did he meet Tomoe?

    Well it's strange. Kenshin left the life of battousai when he's 19, traveled for 10 years and emerged 28 only. I know I read somewhere he's 19 when he became a rurouni.
