I remember seeing Escaflowne late at night on some chanel when i was like in 2nd or 3rd ... i think it either came on before or after Sailor Moon... (not on toonami) but then i moved and it seemed that i couldn't find the show anywhere. Well, i found a movie (I've moved two more times) and i watched it and... does anyone know where i can find the episodes. I got hooked on it when i was little and i'd like to see what happened to them all. The last thing i rememer seeing in the anime was when Hitomi was falling and Vahn went after her and wings came out of his back and he saved her and then told her about his mother and why the people didn't like his wings. So, yea, any help would be greatly appreciated. i hope i didn't mix any of that up with the movie or another anime...

I know the Escaflowne dub has been aired a couple of times - I believe the dub was shown in its horrible entirity outside the US (Canada?), and Fox ran until about episode 12 within the states (before they cancelled it because of "excessive violence," heh). However, outside of those broadcasts, I don't think it's been on TV since.

Well, have you checked online stores? It's relatively simple to find the DVD set, which'll give you both subbed and dubbed versions so you can see the difference. I'm not sure where you can get fansubs for download, though - everyone I know who tried had a horrible time with it, usually the files didn't work or were pretty poor quality.

A few suggested places to buy the series:

www.ebay.com (Good if you know what to look for, but beware the bootleg DVDs.)

http://www.discountanimedvd.com/ (This is where I bought my Esca DVD set. Incidentally, I just went and checked, and they have the full series on sale at the moment for $32.99.)

    ^^ Certainly, glad to help.

Oh, just so you know - Discount Anime DVDs DOES sell some of the Chinese (bootleg) DVDs, but you can tell what's official and what isn't. The Esca series set is perfectly safe. Just, if you look around there and see anything else you like, make sure that it doesn't have Japanese audio and Chinese/English subtitles. That's not something you want to buy, the quality is awful.
