    Yes Rapxephon one of the greatest newer mecha anime. Please your thoughts on this great series. I love it. It reminds me of Eva but it is not a clone or homage to the series. 1 question does Yoshihire Irie have anything to do with the seires.

    Rahxeph0n isn't just a great mecha anime, it's one of the greatest anime ever made!

    No doubt about it, it doesn't head**** your brain like Evangelion did. The story is unique, a touch of action, drama, romance and comedy. "Buchiii!"

    one of my favourites for sure. Search the forums for some older threads that may or may not be interesting.

    I've said it before, the big robots are my least favourite aspect of it :D

    RahXephon's ending was everything that Evangelion SHOULD have had in the end of the TV series. But, they didn't. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the television ending, but they could have added a play-by-play of what's actually happening out in the real world...like, say, RahXephon did.

    But, don't just compare the two series. They're great in their own rights. Rah may have done it really well, but Eva did it FIRST. ^_^

    I WILL watch this someday. What I can add to the discussion is that I love the music. (Granted, I've only heard Hemisphere, but it's enough to judge. ^_^; Well... leave me alone. :p)

    Yoko Kanno + Maaya Sakamoto = ALWAYS GOOD. They do really good work together, even having a whole CD of a collaboration with the two talented artists.

    I rather liked the Maaya and Steve Conte semi-duet they have in the RahXephon movie. It's called "The Garden of Everything". Good stuff, I'd say. Anything Steve Conte + Yoko Kanno is pretty good, too. Like, say, "Call Me Call Me" or "Ask DNA" in Cowboy Bebop.

    Check out "Tune the Rainbow" also. Another RahXephon Maaya + Kanno thingie, going on. ^_^

    I know this may seem stupid of me for not looking for it myself but can someone please explain or link me to a site which explains the show well. I have heard good things about it and want to learn more.:)

    Rahxephon is the best **** I have ever seen. The soundtrack, story is (my opinion) far better than Evangelion.

    I loved it since I first saw when I first cameout I it is in my opinion that is is the greast mech since Gundam(which means it beats Eva) it is just so interesting wooooo
