Yes, I am glad to be typing this thread for now I will present you with...a PICTURE! A picture, which, although the drawing was far from perfect (far, far, far from it), gave me the chance to muck around with noise and tones!

Wow, an applause deservant from my point of view at least. You've really outdone yourself on this here drawing. I would complement more, but its about 3:05 in the moring and my vision isn't all that clear. Ill try to edit my post and congratulate you further if i remember to!

Doesn't look like it Jaken. To me it more looks like she has an open-back dress and the shoulder straps have slipped down her arms. I say this also because Chai has done some nice work with the back regarding how the skin and muscles move back there; instead of just the simple spine-line she also has subtle shoulder-blade lines. IMHO if Chai were to draw the woman nude, you'd see more definition on the breast. Also, there'd be no explanation for the lines on the arm beside gloves, and a naked woman wearing long gloves doesn't seem rational to me.

Jaken: Nephilim_X is right! She's not nekkid! I've always thought of drawing nudes but it's too difficult for me. T_T

 

It took me a moment too. I'm so used to marionettes, expecially *one* in particular, that I forgot (I actually did) for a moment that human women don't have those vent-type things on their arms. But, yeah, looking at it now, I can realize that it is a backless shirt. Still though.

I like the eyes in the picture a lot. The outfit looks cool. I thought for a second she might be nakie, but it only looks like it from the back, not the front. And, of course, there's the straps a little way down her arms.

It was only for half a second. I looked at it, thought "Is she topless?" then "Wait, those are shirt-straps, not arm-vents. Human, not marionette."

So it wasn't as bad as you imagine.

 

Hmm... now that you mention it, it does have the illusion of nudity. Cool pic by the way. *Stares a bit longer.* What do you want? I am a guy after all!
