Those of you that read Shonen Jump know that Sandland is about to end. That means that it will have to be replaced, right?Well I've compiled 3 Viz manga titles that I think would go over very well with American readers. They are:Trigun,Inuyasha, and No Need For Tenchi. The one I really want to be in the magazine is Trigun.Mainly because it's the most action oriented of the 3,and I want to be able to finally read it.I've heard it's fairly different from the anime(which I loved!),and If it goes over well,we get to read the spiffy Trigun Maximum!NNF Tenchi is also good because it's funny, and it's also different from the anime.I've heard that Inuyasha follows the anime pretty well, and that makes it predictible. That's what makes the DBZ manga very boring, because I've already seen the whole show!Other than that,I like Inuyasha a lot!Vote for the one you want to see most, then e-mail Shonen Jump telling them to put it in the magazine at:

    Thank You!

Inuyasha has his own comic and a site where you can read it online (http://www.wot-club.org.uk/Inuyasha) so although I REALLY like Inuyasha, I had to go with Trigun cause I don't think it's been translated, unlike Inuyasha.

I wanna see the Trigun manga!

    That's weird. It should.

Or how about trying entering "Inuyasha manga translations" into google. Chris-san's site should be the first.

And I still think Trigun cause the Inuyasha one is already out and has it's own books. Shonen Jump is for new manga's that they try out before they decide if their popular enough to make graphic novel books out of them.

Oh man, oh man! Sorry for double posting (shouldn't count since I haven't replied in a while) but I just got my latest Shonen Jump issue last night and it says that the manga coming after Sandland will be Rurouni Kenshin! Whoo hoo!! Okay, it's not Inuyasha (shouldn't be anyway) or Trigun (~_~) but it's still something good!!! I love RK!

No need to write to them now. Rurouni Kenshin will be in the November Issue in October (since the issue's come one month before. I have the July issue right now in June.)

Edit: I just read this (sorry Blue Crow!)

Inuyasha isn't based on the anime. It's the other way around. So in fact it's the anime that's predictable sort of. Not totally though since the anime has filler episodes and the eps based on the manga have something extra (they never lack anything from the manga it seems).

Sorry Trigun_Vash but it's RK. Maybe when another manga series finishes they'll bring Trigun (that won't be for a while though).

Yeah... it's RK. Kinda happy... but I'm kinda not. We fansubbed almost teh whole series, and when it was licsensed by Viz, we had to stop. I've know for a long time they were putting it on...

Usually, Americans mess up all teh good anime.... but I like the shonen jump people, and I think they'll do a good job! ;)

Yeah, they do do a good job. They're a really good translation company basically because they have good translators. Sometimes it's hard to translate even when you know the language too cause I read from an interview that some stuff doesn't translate well Ex: In Lunar 2 there's a Japanese pun that doesn't sound right in English: "I know I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but what kind of cheesy puff is that."

    There you go.
