    Has anyone else had the priviledge of watching this cool 3 part ova?

    It starts off with this nerd-book-worm girl buying a book in a bookstore. Some weird guy steals the book, but the girl throws out paper, turns it ino a rope and catches the guy and gets the book back. It turns out that the girl is Ms. Readman a.k.a. The Paper. She is part of this organization run by a guy called a.k.a. 'The Joker' The Paper has the ability to manipulate paper to create anything and do anything she so chooses.. the result is she lugs around a suitcase full of loose sheets of paper.

    Its action packed cool stuff. I say a must see. I wish there was more though. kind of ended a bit sadly. but maybe it was intended to be happy?

    yeah,I saw it...in anime club (where I'm exposed to about 90% of the stuff I've seen). It was interesting...two Nancys....which one is the real one?

    yeah,we saw the first two eps at the first official meeting of the year,then had to wait for the fansubbers to finish ep.3 (which they finally did sometime in January/February,when we watched it).

    *howls and throws shiz at the guy who already left*

    I've only seen the opening credits and have the opening and closing songs on my playlist. I'm very excited to try to get a look a look at it, looks like some fun spy action. I don't like Manga(l) Ent., who's got the US rights, but Odex is gonna bring it out in Region 3, so maybe that'll make it accessible, if I ever have the courage to region-free my drive.

    when is R.O.D. coming out on dvd???
    I can't stay satisfied with only a Read or Die shitajiki... I need plush pillows and cell phone straps and r.o.d. logo pajamas and... I want to cosplay as Yomiko Readman too.. that'll be fun... when I get the clothes I show a pic to y'all...

    i saw ep 1 of this today, and I am dl'in ep 2 now... should be able to watch it tomorrow :)
    can't find ep 3 anywhere thjough hehe.

    isn't ms. deep's real name the name of some real famous spy? known for espionage and counter intelligence. i think she was french. (in case this gets read wrong, like that never happens, i'm talking about the source of the characters name...not the character herself...i mean a real person)

    can you imagine if Goku was a real character who existed in that world a long time ago and they cloned him, and The Paper had to fight against him?

    Son gokou is a characther from Journey to the West, a really old Asian tale, which anime has had parodies of on many occasions. Dragonball, Read or Die..even Love Hina did it (remember the play episode? :) )

    Oh..does anyone remember Monkey?

    I watched all 3 OVAs of Read or Die. I have to say the animations were great. Especially the concept of a book worm girl that can manipulate paper. This is a must see anime.

    I friend of mine lent it to me over the summer. Loved it. Its one of those series that makes want there to more than just 3 episodes.
