My first post in a while since the RPG ^^

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninja

Well, its still not really proven that ninjas were actually real but most of the things they did were helpful to some extent. If you look on the link I gave you, it will tell you a lot about what we really know about them, or at least what the page gives and I find it useful. Its still mostly legend if they in fact existed (example: no one has met one to in fact tell someone else if they are real or not) but some of the things on here say that they are real. I think they were real (but some of the things they were said to have done seems just impossible) and useful during that time with some of their skills but if you look at what we can do today, its kind of useless to even have ninjas, unless of course they can do magic :p

They were very real and infact were most active I beileve during the Sengoku Jedai era. Ninja were usually just spys, used to gather information. But the styles they used were very deadly. Some Consider ninjitsu one of the nastiest arts in the world. (But of course, that go's with the fantasy thing). They had an arrangment of weapons for different situations and, full real name is Shinobi-no-mono.

Anyone else watch Final Fu on MTV? The winner was a student of Ninjitsu, and he kicked total ass. As a martial art, I'm not really sure what makes it unique, but I know that it's powerful when mastered.

Actually the link was informational, and you should also believe anything Samurai Me tells you about ninja's because he's right. :p

They can jump buildings. Actually there are normal 21 year old that leap like 3 stories from sky scrapers down another, but they roll on there landing to soften the jump.

Or did Freerunners have to learn ninja skills? It's kinda like the chicken or the egg. Hell, I just wish I could do it!

Yeah lets do it. We can break our legs and then have monstrous docter bill. Woot i need to up my job is im gonna do that. Freerunners can't jump 3 stories....I think. My uncle fell three stories and lost almost all mobility. So how can these guys do it and not be injured?

They go up against another building going down. The friction slows them down, and the roll at the bottom softens the landing more. It's actually possible, but takes a s**tload of practice.

    They're awesome, I'm engaged to one :p

One of the things that makes Ninjitsu so unique is that it focuses more on stealth than most other martial arts do. Back in the day, most Ninja's were hired as assassins which meant they had to kill their target quickly and quietly. Most of them worked alone and you hardly ever saw more than one of them together. They teach you the most efficient and quickest ways to kill a human being. My fiance has shown me a few of the techniques they use and they're quite impressive and scary. In a lot of their techniqes, the targets are dead or incapacitated before they even know what hit them.
