anyone else know how to cook?
very usfull skills boys and girls

    ~stir fry
    -sauce-
    1cup soy sauce
1cup water < opt, rice wine(sake, mirin) or red wine >
1/2-2/3 cup each hoi sing, black bean sauces
minuim three garlic cloves minced, no real limit here
minuim 2 tables spoons of of fine choped ginger,
1-3 tsp beef base dry <bolion(SP)>
pinch of salt depending on how much beef base you added
    ~1/8 tsp fresh ground peper
opt, spices, personaly I put about 2-4tbsp of chile flakes in, but not many people can handle "that much" :S
    -3/4cup slury (corn-starch+water) 1/2 starch mix till 3/4 cup

    -veggies
what ever you want, however, the best are
1/2-3/4 med white/red onion med choped
1-1/2 cups sliced daikon <slices cut into 1/3rds>
    1-2 carrots sliced on a bais <diaginaly>
1-2 cerly staks sliced on a bais
1/2 peper (red, yellow, green...) sliced into striped about pencil width slice in half
    1/2 brolicly and coliflower
opt, 1can baby corn cut or whole
    opt, water chestnuts sliced
    opt, bambo shoots

    -meats
beef, sliced agaisnt the grain fairly thin
chiken, sliced width ways about pinky width
pork, never tried it, but go with loin and cook like beef

    -method

    -get sauce ready
mix in measuring glass or such
    don't add the slury

-slice veggies and put on tray or lid or something, keep them seperate, they cook at differant speeds

    -slice meat

-cook meat (med-high, high for beef, med-med-high for chiken, med-high for pork)
add about 1tsp of oil per oz of meat

cook beef to taste (unless paranoid then cook till brown)

cook chiken till its white all the way though, carful not to burn/brown it, hen it gets tough

cook pork to taste, remember there has been no case of "triginois: in 70 years, that old addage your grand mother said "cook your pork 'till its good and done" was beacause of triginois, it has been elimiated in N.America, if your from outside N.America cook till it;s 160°f core temp

-remove meat, drain (put on rack or plate with paper towel) cover

-wipe pan re-heat (medium) add oild for veggies, ~3tsp
add daikon and onions, stir ocationaly
cook till onions are translucent<see through>
add carrot, water chestnut and possible the coliflower (if you like it soft >< )
    cook another minute or two
add the rest of the veggies, cook till theire almost ready

    - add sauce and meat
heat till the sauce is at a boil

    -add slury and stir

keep at a boil till the sauce turn darker and think'ns, turn down

serve on your choice of rice

it takes me slightly more than 20min to put this together, serves 2 hungary people, or three normal people

    1 15-ounce can pumpkin
    2/3 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    3 slightly beaten eggs
    1 5-ounce can (2/3 cup) evaporated milk
    1/2 cup milk

    Directions:
    1. For filling, in a mixing bowl combine pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Add eggs. Beat lightly with a rotary beater or fork just until combined. Gradually stir in evaporated milk and milk; mix well.
    2. Place the pie dish on the oven rack. Carefully pour filling into pie dish.
    3. To prevent overbrowning, cover edge of the pie with foil. Bake in a 375 degree F oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil. Bake about 25 minutes more or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate within 2 hours; cover for longer storage. Makes 8 servings.

I LOVE PUMPKIN PIE!!! YUMMY!!! ^_^
