Otaku = General term for a fan of anime

Otaku seems to be a good thing here, fi you're an otkau in Japan, you're a Japanese version of a comic geek that buys porn anime and porn games. Like *cough cough Koi Hime cough cough*

The cutest characters ARE ALWAYS in Pron games. It's scary... O_O

Love Hina, Tenchi Muyo, Chobits and Aa! Megami-sama! (sadly) all fit into the category of your regular Japanese otaku anime. They all ahve the same plot, lots of beautiful women all living with this loser that would normally have no hope with girls. It gives Japanese otaku's hope... You also all the girls that match eveyrone's tastes, the kind gentle pretty girl, the cute adorable girl, the tomboy, the sexy lady.... it goes on....

Stupid actually...

AMERICAN otakus are ignorant people who Japan is an anime fantasy land. Well most are. They think hat anime is 100% original blah blah....

That was a pretty harsh way to go about it but I'll take no offense. *gasp* I had no idea anime was modeled after american stuff. I learned something new tonight. I guess that makes me another stupid American otaku.

I just found out what the word "otaku" meant just a few minutes ago...

Don't worry, I'm obsessed with Tsukasa and swooning over him. Now I worry when you claim to be married to him (my tiny brain: claim? she IS married to him!! You're just mad b/c you're not married to Tsukasa!!)

pah reign sucked... okay i only saw like two minutes of it but i couldnt watch anymore!! it was soooooo freaking awful to look at! whoever decided that it would be a good series to play was sadly mistaken imo... oh and on a side note rockna that was really kinda witchy of ya gee whiz...

Actually MysticalAngel the creater of Reign created DBZ too...which DBZ isn't that bad...wel the dubbed version is but otherwise DBZ is a pretty good anime...iono what went thru that guys head when he made Reign :dizzy2:

 

Hey FR, are you so sure about miyazaki modeling after disney's creations? From what I've heard, he wasn't quite so fond of them... because I heard when someone said "He's the disney of Japan!" he said he didn't want to be thought of that way, or something... And yup sadly most otakus are drooling geeks, atleast in Japan...

 

You better believe I'm sure. Either a) what you heard amy not have been true or b) Miyazaki's modest. Ya know when somebody says you're just like the person you've looked up to and stuff and you're so modest, you explain you don't wanna be said to eb that good cause you're not? Yup, Miyazaki's modest.
Plus Miyazaki's style is very different from Disney that may be another reason. Although he looked up to their works, he wishes not to be called 'the disney of Japan' because his styl;e is not like Disney's.
