Recreation Ren and Stimpy!!!!

Holy crap, how the hell didn't I hear this before.
I've just read that Ren and Stimpy are back.
John Kricfalusi, it's original creator, is apparently signed to do 52 new episodes for some channel called TNN.
And it's not a kids channel so Kricfalusi will finally have the freedom that Nickleodean denied him.
They're gonna reshow old uncensored ones to apparently.
It was supposed to have started a couple of days ago on he 26th.

Man this is the best news I've heard in a long long time.
Did anyone actually know about this?

I don't have any links though.

It is probably gonna take at least a year before it gets here in europe.

 

lol i was channel surfing n saw ren n stimpy on i was like dude thats so old school... i was very surprised to see it back then low n behold you post this amazing... yeah its definitely uncensored and stuff (got a tv rating of mature...which is with south park) so all you fans should be quite pleased... also TNN is now doing 'the first network for men' thing now (thats what they call it) showing ren n stimpy as well as new cartoons and shows... im guessing like adult swim just cruder? anyway if you guys were interested in that tidbit of info

I love ren and stimpy! I watched an episode of it last night on TNN and I loved it. I'm going to start watching it all the time! I use to be such a big fan of that show but then it just disappeared off the face of the earth...FOR A LONG TIME!! I'm really hyped up about this. It was my fav. show as a little girl on Nick but to see it uncensored is gonna be even better.

 

i used to love Ren and Stimpy. That and Rocko's Modern Life were the most crude shows on Nick. But that made them particularly awsome. And now on TNN they are playing Ren and Stimpy, along with some other shows called Gary the Rat, which i think is about a big lawyer rat, and Stripperella, which is about a striper superhero. Or some dumb idea alond those lines. Sorry about you Europeans, since R&S isn't there yet.

It was one of the best shows of the 90s and it was totally shafted by Nickleodeon. And it's creater was royal ****ed in the *** by them too.

Well I think I've seen pretty much every episode bar maybe a few, I didn't see them on Nickleodean so I don't know if they were censored. They probably were. I'm just looking forward to the all new 52 episodes that Kricfalusi is making. With little or no restrictions I wanna see how he can top the nickleodean episodes.
But being where I am I don't know when I'll get to see them.

Hell my for my lip synch project in college I animated Ren and Stimpy to some Pulp Fiction dialogue. That was sweet.

 

Forget? Come on now, out of all the cartoons that appeared on American tv back in those years, Ren & Stimpy really stood out. I can't even remember the other cartoons that came out at about the same time as Ren & Stimpy (THOSE are ones that I have forgotten!).

I don't mean to spoil anything (and I haven't seen the new episodes yet), but someone told me that Ren & Stimpy "do" some pretty sick "@$$" stuff, stuff that probably would gross out the typical bishonen-ai-loving female otaku .

Ren and Stimpy was one of my fave childhood cartoons. I laughed my *** off at it all the time. It was so... obscence but funny.
