Recreation requesting prayer

    I'm downloading a new driver for my printer so that it won't interfere with my scanner, since they're sharing the same port. Everything's gone fine, except, of course, that I can't use my scanner b/c some printer file is in the way. So, PRAY, guys. I need it. I really wanna have my scanner and printer functioning right now. *sniff wail*

    sorry to say this Stardust, but seeing the title of the thread, I thought something very horrible happened to you or your family.. hopefully you get your printer and scanner working though :sweat:

    lol.. posting from my fiance's computer.. mine's busted. getting a dude to come in to see it tomorrow... means a lot of mulla :(

    my drivers didn't work for the longest time on my scanner. just had a scanner wasting space.. now its working, but lol! thats not the problem ;)

    Bummer, I had a problem with my scanner a while ago but now it's all right. Good luck with your scanner and printer, I'll remember to pray for you.:p

    oro >.< I thought that something really horrible happened too, although I'll keep you in my prayers... but pray to St. Isidore of Seville, he's the patron Saint of computers ;)


    Oh and I hope that you can fix up thine computer too Seraphim, I still think it's something with the cooling system....

    I'm glad that its ur printer and scanner thats not functioning.. I thought that something horrible has happen to someone u know

    as seraphim,that guy, and toomaa said I THOUGHT SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAD HAPPENED!!! saw the title and it scared me half to death!! not to say the scanner thing isnt bad...hope ya get it fixed and all soon^.^ *phew i really was worried for a sec*

    When I first read the title, I didnt think that there was a big problem .. cuz if there was .. there would be - maybe - a sad smily .. or the title would be writien in caps .. you know what I mean .. ?
    Its that sometimes I - RARELY - can read people's emotions by the way that they type ..

    But after giving it alot of thought .. this would be a big problem to me :sweat2: .. I have a problem too. We just formated drive C and the printer only prints white & black .. well its not a problem compared to you .. :sweat2:!!

    Hope it works & I will pray for you from the bottom of my heart ..

    Eh...

    Sorry if I worried anyone. I was just kinda mad at the fact that I just knew I could have bad luck with the scanner, and I went for the best approach.

    Sadly, though, it didn't work. It worked once, but then when the dude restarted my compy to see if it'd work, it didn't. -_-; And the driver fixed nothing.

    Now we have to by the USB thingee. (Don't ask. I dunno tech language… ^^) My comp's motherboard, he said, has the USB thing, but not the thing on the back where you connect things. (Things! That's all I know about!)

    So..Thanks anyway, guys. ^^ I appreciate it. I don't mind waiting, though. It's happened to me before. (Having to wait, that is. ^^)

    thats pretty silly, a computer whose casing does not have a usb connection, but the motherboard it came with has the ability to support it. I dunno if this is common. I at the moment have a casing that has 4 usb plug ins, but my motherboard only supports the back two.

    heh not too uncommon i would think. it just depends on whether you got the right motherboard for your case and vise versa. my motherboard has a bus port. but the case didn't support it. so my dad carved out the hole with a screw driver. (note:my computer is a hospital reject. my dad saved it and stole it*^-^*)

    I wouldn't know, really... installing another parallel port did the trick, though. ^^;

    I tried to upload a Rayearth fanart, but it said the pic was too big... :sad:

    Do you mean as an attachment? Yeah...nothing over 100K will attach...you could try compressing it as a JPG and play with the quality...

    Or you could always get a place in our gallery, if you'd so like one... :)

    BTW, did someone know that has the saint of internet? They said he invented the encyclopedia, but we all know who invented was... forgot his name:sweat: and also cause ecyclopedias ware invented 200 years before this saint was born...

    heh i think i'll keep my belief in St. Dogbert. may he always keep the daemons of stupidity away from my computer...along with my "buddy Christ" toy from Dogma*^-^*(how can you not look a that face and think "wow, what a guy"? or something like that

    Erm... Lemme take this paragraph by paragraph. ^^;

    I dunno how to do that...the whole changing thing. My comp (or the software, I really don't know..) saves scanned pics as BMPs (*shudder*), and I dun understand ArcSoft PhotoStudio 2000 AT ALL. -_-; (sometimes I wonder how I can work with some HTML but not with my own PC...)

    Well, if you guys don't mind, I guess it'd be a nice place to share my art... (Though, of course, BMPs take AGES to load... *mumbles mean things about BMPs, but then takes it all back b/c she's grateful about the scanner-is-working!! thing*)
