Video Games Resident Evil:Outbreak!

I rented this game today and it is AWESOME. There is 8 different characters, each with thie own specia abilities and starting item, for example, The guy I use, Kevin, starts with a .45 pistol, and my other character, Alyssa starts with 4 Lockpicks. And, its online too! Up to 4 players can play together through the games 5 scenarios, and allowing all 4 people to co-op with each other, and make use of thier abilities. And for those who dont have online, like me, you can go through the game with CPU players, and 2 help you out on each scenario. For those who have played already, post your top 3 fav. survivors.

Well, this is a truly great game, and Im sure any fan of a survival shooter would love it as well.

 

Well, I got this game the day it came out and ironically my top three favorite characters are the same as yours, in the same order. Pretty strange. Anyways, I always liked Kevin from the start (because he is the only RE character I've seen who is portrayed as someone that's FAILED at something, so I thought that's cool).

I've only been playing through the first scenario for now, trying to rack up points and such. Though maybe you can help me out since I'm guessing you played Alyssa's scenario;



(SPOILERS SLIGHTLY)...did your game happen to freeze with her when you were in the part where you have to push the Police Cars to make a barricade? I've tried abotu four times and my game always freezes with her in that area and it's usually when I try to give a command to someone (three out of the four times). I don't know what's wrong and not sure what to do. :\ It's really infuriating.

 

Amon, Im sad to say this but, Everyones Alyssa scenario freezes. It never works, and no one knows why. Many people on GameFAQs have the same prob. I suspect its because the server is down, but oddly, it only freezes offline...

 

I loved the game and I never had any problems with the game freezing with Alyssa, but I only put the first barricade up, and let the Aaron handle any Zombies that made their way from under the car. The the order in which I like the charactor are...

1) Mark Williams - Always liked the veteran type of charctor. Plus he could take the most damage, as well as deal out the most damage in the game.

2) David King - Reminds me of Solid Snake for some reason. Oh, and wait till you get a battery and a metal rod. Combine them to form the almighty stun stick! The most Bad@$$ weapon in the game!

3) Alyssa Ashcroft - The female fighter of the game. Tough personality, and the lockpick is a life saver.

4) Yoko Suzuki - So much mystery surrounding this charactor. I won't spoil anything, but after the second mission, there's more to her than meets the eye. Plus she is the most resistant to he virus.

5) George Hamilton - The best charactor to use in the hospital.

6) Kevin Ryman - Reminds me too much of a heart-throb type of charactor. I find his endless chatter annoying. His special weapon, though good, lacks a sufficient amount of ammo, save for the first and fourth mission.

7) Cindy Lennox - Reminds me too much of a damsel in distress, though, I admit, I haven't used her too much.

8) Jim Chapman - This is the charactor that makes me wish they put in an option to kill your teammates. Hate this annoying prick, who is completely usleless.

Plus I like playing as BOB - Marks friend, and unlockable charactor/skin and the firemen.
