The man, the myth, the legend has passed away.

The man with the big brown hair and golden feet is no longer with us. His battle against Liver failure was long and hard, but he lost.

The former Man Utd player remains as one of the worlds brilliant players.

    R.I.P.

Its very sad to see such a player die at that age, he should have had a few more years in him. But i guess his playboy antics finally caught up with him. I was actually shocked when i found out, i was on the bus home from college and just as we got to the bus stop i heard it on the radio, and at nearly the same time somebody with an evening paper walked by with the headline "George Best R.I.P".

I hope hes in a better place now.

George Best, UK's Pele... Maradona, if you like. He was legendary nonetheless. At least he died with his family around him.

    Rest in peace

I think that it is sad that he was gone. I thought he was one of the best descent players out there.
