    Yeah, Rin's pretty cute. Her only real purpose is to bring out Sesshomaru's good side, but she does a pretty adorable job of it. She actually seems fairly smart for a girl of her age, especially one who went through such traumatic experiences.

    Congratulations, I'm pretty sure you did this one right! But the one thing you messed up on was your double posting. If you want to post directly after a post you've just made, or want to change something in your post, there's a little button at the bottom of your post labelled "edit" that you can use to correct any grammar mistakes or add stuff on. Quite handy :)

    Err... not to make myself the bad guy here, but is there any actual point to this thread? It seems to be less about Rin and more about things which could be discussed through PMs or added onto on-topic posts... >_>;

    Personally, Rin never made much of an impression on me. Cutesy minor characters generally aren't my style (same reason why Shippo kind of bores me as well, I suppose). Of course, I might also be affected by the fact that I dislike her dub voice - and it's been ages since I saw any subbed Inuyasha, so I don't remember what she originally sounded like. *shrug*

    LOVELYSIGHTRIN: Instead of making a seperate post to ask if you're within proper bounds, why not just edit your original post to include that? Makes things less... y'know, cluttered.

    *pulls a guilty face* Dilandau IS right, of course, but since nobody actually had anything to say regarding the topic to begin with...

    Anyhow, back on topic. I, too, am not usually interested in the cute minor characters, but I don't harbor any dislike for them either. I don't have much of an opinion on Shippo, nor on Rin for that matter, but I can't deny that she's pretty sweet. The story is perfectly capable of functioning without her, but she does add a touch of flavor to Sesshomaru's scenes/episodes.

    Rin is a sweetheart...I really do like her. And like Kagome's Arrow said, her main purpose is for enhancing and adding flavor to Sesshoumaru's disposition and character. But with Shippou, ugh, that little wretch annoys the hell out of me. But that's another story.
