i know i'm late for watching it!!! but this is my fan art of this movie ('ring' the japanese original film of 'the ring') done by photoshop. this movie awesome and i couldnt resist for not drawing it ^_<

Woo, that's creepy. I shouldn't have checked this thread before I go to bed. I may not have seen the Ring, but now I'm curious. Maybe I should... but I've heard so many things about how scary it's supposed to be... Oh, well. At least Cherry is there to keep me from having nightmares. ^_^

Your artwork is truly superb, child of sin. Have you thought of a career in it? No, really. You should be making money off of art like that.

who said i'm not! i'm on my 4th year of my art career now ;P 3 years ago i used to work as a 2D flash animator. but i'm working now as a 2D preproduction of 3D animation's character designer and story board artist in another company.
but if your talking about art commissions (free lance) i'm only taking requests inside my country cuz i live in the mid east and its too hard for me to deal online ;P!

Thats one damn fine/scary picture. Its really just like the real thing. I've always loved Sadaku's hair, i always thought that was the creepiest thing about her, and you managed to draw it really well.

Most terrifiying pic-cha. I love it so much!! I like the color sceme you used. Really captured the terror from the Japanese version of the Ring. Much like the Manga versoion of the ring. ag babbble. . . I just really like it!

it was the original film of the ring on 1999, the american film was made based on this one ;P but the main origin of all of this was a japanese novl.
also there is a manga! i didnt saw it but i remember i saw it somewhere on the net.

 

I've seen "the Grudge", but by the look of things it isn't much different from "the Ring" .. Not that I've seen "the Ring"..
But the Grudge was ALSO situated in Japan, and ALSO had the same looking character.... Oh the originality -_-

Hahaha! Well a white dress is very common, and lots of Japanese women have long black hair. Ring and Juon (The Grudge) were by the same producers anyway. But I do agree that they could have been more original. (I'm thinking of really nuts ghost ideas right now... >.< .) That drawing is pretty nuts too, especially with the neutralized colors.

 

Originality is a rare thing in Hollywood these days..

 

but if its the same producer! he is the film's director at the same time! and he's a japanese...i think it turned out a commercial i think XP..
