Anime Robotech: Battlecry

I just picked up my copy yesterday. I hope it lives up to all the hipe I have read about it.

I am looking forward to playing this blast from the past.

I got it a while back. It was kind of dissapointing because the graphics and enemy AI could have been so much better than what I have seen so far. Right now i'm stuck at that part were you have to fight the Zentrati ace. I've battled her many times over the past few months, but I just get slaughtered every time. Damn is she good.

 

the Game itself actualy did not do very well in the sales department.. because my brother was able to pic the game up a month ago for 30$ bran new with tax..included..

As far as beating the female ace at tghe crash site.. is somewhat hard.. but i found a cheap way to do it.. Hide far enough back behind a wall she will not fly by.. and jump up now and then and fire all your missles at her over and over... and after a while she will die..

But frankly it was protecting the bloody cats eye that was anoying as hell..

i just played it awhile back and i think its really great. the graphics look a little cartoony, but thats what makes it better. also my friends and i always have fun trying to kill each other in that game.

 

Played it and own it. But it's too difficult... :anger2:

 

Bought it ages ago.. last year sometime..

I loved the retroness of it, with the cartoony graphics.
Gameplay was fun. It could have been a lot better, like increasing the AI and difficulty.

The game was easy, sometimes too easy. Its one of those complete in a day then throw away games.

Luckily the RT:Invasion Game will have online multiplayer options.

 

I'm not a big Robotech fan, but I decided to buy this game anyway, and god, I love it. I beat it(well, ok, I couldn't beat Stormy Friendship), and I'm currently working on getting all the medals. And beating aforementioned mission. But this game is enough to get me into the series...

By the way, can anyone offer any help on with said mission?

 

Battlecry

This game was good. I love giant killer robot games and am very dissapointed at the lack of them today. I like the armored core and MechWarrior games better as mech games, but this is one that is good to add to a collection.

It was a bit easy, but the medals take a while to get. The multiplayer mode was not as fun as I expected it to be. There was no radar, which makes it very hard to find your target in space.

 

I played it too. Was very nice. Until I got frustrated at some missions. But still nice, seeing a game with those fun missiles, oo, missiles!!!

Just waiting for a Macross one, since this one only had VF-1s.

 

If your trying to max out the medels, getting the little stars too, you cant.

A lot of the copies for all systems were released with a bug still in the game concerning the medels for the last of the kill count medels.(100 Battlepods and 200 fighter pods, IIRC) You will not beable to get the stars or the actual medel, cant remember since its been ages...

Not sure if in later batches the error was corrected.

 

I beat the level, so yay, and I have every medal except for the one that gives you the stealth paint design. I have to say that I love the multiplayer....my brother played as a Veritech with the REALLY BIG armor on it, and I beat him with Kiyora. God, I love playing as her.

 

Well I bought the game for the gamecube and I'm at Force of Arms and so far I just have to outlast the female zentradi ace pilot, But to do that I have to take as little damage as possible before getting to that point, So I've come close. The Graphics are fine and look a lot like the TV series as far as I can tell.
