Voltron Room for Voltron II?

I'm fascinated by Voltron II, or Albegas as it's called in Japan. Is there any room for it in the Voltron comic book, or do you think we'll see none of it past the Matchbox toys from the 80s?

I think I feel this way about it because we really don't know anything about Voltron II at all. The Gladiator Voltron Force, as Matchbox called them, is fresh and could be started from scratch. Since the Vehicle Voltron Force is in the Near Universe, and the Lion Voltron Force is in the Far Universe, the Gladiator Voltron Force could be in the Mid Universe. And as we see in episodes of Voltron, like "A Letter from Home" from the Vehicle series where Chip gets a letter from his brother Pidge, I would like to see some connection to the other Voltron Forces, pehaps even visiting Galaxy Garrison.

This could make for some very interesting fan fiction!

I agree with you. With the other two Voltrons tied up with their sections of space to defend, Why not see Voltron II on his home turf----EARTH.

The story goes that he was created to defend Earth while the other teams battled the Doom Empire in outer space. I think there is an endless supply of story-line here.

I think the Vehicle Voltron Force was close enough to Earth that it was considered that planet's protector, although Hawkins was officially out looking for suitable worlds to relocate. I only say this because at the beginning of the Vehicle/Lion episode "Fleet of Doom," they say the Vehicle team was protecting the "Near Universe."

It would be neat to have Sven lead up the Gladiator Voltron Force, since Allura eventually steals the Blue Lion from him!

What would really be great is if World Events Production would try to bring Voltron II to the US airwaves. I think it would really catch on.

Also, I think we should give the original Voltron II crew a chance before we replace them with Sven. Besides, Sven will always be the one true pilot of the Blue Lion.
