    Well that was awsome.

My roomate is half Korean and his mother came to visit today and brought a ton of Korean food for him (us heheh). And to top it off she made sushi for us, the kind wrapped in seaweed with rice and other vegtables inside it.

    It was outstanding.

So, if you have one, what's everyones favorite kind of sushi?

    Personally squid is quite nice.

I hate seafood and I hate sushi.
I've tried squid before on a dare and that stuff is nasty!
Seaweed around raw fish and rice just does not appeal to me.

I don't like the idea of raw food... but fish ranks low on the "yuck it's raw" list, mostly because of the tuna

My favourite kind of sushi is the kind I make. It's precooked crab meat, cucumber and fried sweetened egg, which the sushi rice is coated in sesame seeds before rolling the nori inside out.

If I have to give it a name, it's a Californian roll without the mushy avocado, and add the fried egg. I add a bit of flour and sugar to the egg mixture before frying then slicing.

I didn't have problems the first time I tried a variety of different sushi at a Japanese restaurant, but the last time I had salmon sushi and I got sick. but the Miso made me sick there as well, so I may never go back to that restaurant.

    Anyways.. piccy of my sushi!!!

Well, i've tried Sushi once, and i liked it. Thing is, that where i live at, Sushi is not like a typical thing, or a thing at all. You'd have to go to one of those expensive restaurnats to get some GOOD sushi. That other frozen imitation is just eghh! Hope to find a way to cook sushu, since i'm not so good at cooking. Maybe in a future time i will become more attached to sushi, for now, it's just one of those wonders in life!

Ahhh...You've managed to make me hungry! that looks preety good, looks like you got something goin' on there eh?

Maybe one day, i will learn how to cook like that!

I like all the kinds of Sushi...I mean, they're good; it's all that counts for me. When we go to buffets, Japanese Restaurants; that's all I eat...really. And sake! Ooh.

Does anyone put egg in theirs...It's not seafood, but my Mom sometimes puts egg in the ones that she makes-- don't ask. I thought it was weird.
