Alright, the story starts out with this really annoying kid, Jun, who refuses to go to school and enjoys buying odd things offline and then returning them. His poor sister has to take care of him and put up with his nasty/antisocial attitude, because their parents are dead.
Then, after he places a latter in drawer, out of nowhere a box appears containing a beautiful, refined, and bossy doll named Shinku, one of the five Rozen Maiden dolls. She makes Jun her servant, bound by a rozen ring. Shortly after another Rozen Maiden become's Shinku's second servant- the super kawaii Hinaichigo, who acts a lot like a three year old.
The series follows the broken family, along with the 4 Rozen Maidens that eventually come, and of course things start to change in Jun. There's lot of chaos and hilarious parts, but there's also very emotional scenes. There's also lots of battles between the dolls, if you like that, especially between the evil Sugintou. (yayy!)
Point is, I really loved this series and highly recommend it. It was unique in many ways, one being the story. It also made me laugh plenty of times, and the dolls were soooo adorable. I want my own Rozen Maiden! Lastly, it had a good message: nobody is perfect.

I really liked the anime. It was a shock it didn't have many episodes, but it wasn't rushed at all and it had such a wonderful message to it. It was great to see how Sakurada Jun changed throughout the show.

I'm surprised there wasn't a Rozen Maiden thread already made, since it's a fine show.
