Recreation Rpg Makers

not sure if this would go here or not ... because its not exactly about video games or RPG's ... its more of a question than a discussion.

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any FREE downloadable rpg makers???
Except for RPG Maker 95/2000/2003/XP/ds. because they all really suck.

well, the ones i mentioned are very ... I'd say limited. there's no REAL customisation i can do in them, and the battle style is none changeable, i need a gamer maker like Dark Basic, but for free.
