Setsuna got up and wiped a tear from her eye. "I had to protect my kingdom, the Pluto Kingdom, I was it's princess.. It was worth everything to me." She said "I did what I had to do.. Queen Serenity will be avenged someday, for now, Let's rest" She said and passed through the force field.

 

Tailki folowed and came up from behind Setsuna, "...you sacraficed your kingdom for this ruined one?", he asked.

OOC: I repaired the kingdom by sacrificing mine.. edit that..

IC: "When everything is peaceful again, I will live here as Princess Pluto and take care of the Universe and all it's Galaxies" Setsuna said. "I need to replace Queen Serenity or I'll feel guilty.. and nothing will get done" She added. "I remember how the palace was back then.. and is now." She said and showed everyone their room.

"No one can replace her. In my former life, I knew her. She was very wise."

She looked to Edgar, "I'm sorry you lost her. I'm sorry you had to watch her fade."

 

"You may have known her, but as the Princess of Pluto, She raised me" Setsuna said. "I know her ways and could replace her, It will take hard work and If this nightmare ends I will do it" She said with determination

 

"You'll be the ruler of the universe, wow, that's alot of responsibilitie.", Tailki said.

Alesie looked at Tailki, "More than one person to handle. I sapose you'll need help. When it's over, I'll send Prene back here to help you."

 

"Fine then, She can act as a Princess Serenity duplicate" She said with more or less happiness. "I'd like you here too, As Princess TearStar" Setsuna said "How about it?" Setsuna said with a grin

"I'll think about it. But I will most likely decline. My home os Earth. But lets concentrate on the task at hand. Defeating Mlace and Riakiaday, and Dark Star."

 

"Galactic Pluto Power!" Setsuna said, Taking her Power Stick and changing into Sailor Pluto. "I am fully prepared now" She said with determination. "Let's go!" She said with a grin appearing on her face

 

Mika looked to Tear star, looking as though she was about to pass out. 'hn....'

 

"Mika? Are you alright?", Tailki asks seeing her about to pass out.

"Mika?" Alesie looked back at her as well, "Are you alright?"

 

Edgar smiled somewhat bitterly. "I was Serinitys personal body guard." He closed his eyes, remembering. "Listen very closely." He said, and as he said it, sounds began to eminate, as if from the very stones themselves. It was the faint sound of a ball. "The kingdom still remembers that last night, and she keeps playing it over and over, in tribute to the fallen. Its not good for it, really." He smiled sadly at Tearstar. "Twould have been better if I'd been left for dead." He then shook his head. "Enough of my rabmlings. I would gladly stay and defend the kingdom as I once did, Setsuna, but I fear my presance would cause nothing but anguish." He looked at Mika in concern, then seemed to remember something. He took off his armor slowly, wincing as it came over his wounded shoulder. He then removed hisshirt, revealing the horrible gash along his left shoulder, made all the more terrible by the strange, living darkness that seemed to surrond the wound. "He tagged me again." Edgar murmured sadly. " He then straightened and sighed. " My wound, and Mikas, are infected by darkness. She caught only small amounts, so her body MIGHT be able to fight it off before it kills her. Me, on the other hand." He shrugged. "Darkstar tagged me again, and he knows it. He'll be waiting for me now. I need to kill him, before this kills me, and I still need to kill Malice," He sighed, some what melodramatically. "I have one sleep left before whatever rest I take only harms me. Please, Setsuna, let me rest a bit longer."

OOC: Sorry I didn't post for a bit, friend called, he was having problems, so, Mr Jason runs out the door all heroic. Last night, the 'problem' in question called him back and he totally ignored me all night. Ain't friends grand? *sigh*

 

"....... My body can't fight against this...."Mika's breathing was becoming heavier and her eyes seemed to cover with a light mist.

 

"Infested with darkness...are you sure there isn't another cure besides defeating them?", Tailki asks.

 

"We shall rest" Setsuna said now in the form of Sailor Pluto. "We will defeat them, and you will be defending this kingdom.. Like you once did." She added. "I know you feel the guilt I do, and you would do anything to get rid of it.. You will help me defend this kingdom, the task for you will be easier since I can take care of myself" She said with bitterness. "We will win this war, and when it is over you will be in command of the forces of the Moon Kingdom.. The kingdom will be revived and more active than ever" She yelled in determination.

OOC: Dont make your character die.. We need you around!

 

ooc: hee. not gonna die. but i can't fight it in that body. I have a plan, don't worry! ^_^

 

OOC: Heh heh heh heh..........don't worry. I love telling stories, and I'm having fun on this one. A li'l bit of drama goes a long way. I MAY end up contacting one of you on a possibility I'm working on though, so keep your ears open. Right, on with the show! Oh, side note, Mog and Althena, once more, when you've the chance, just back post a bit, I'll make sure it makes sense in retrospect. Oh, and Mika, if you'd be so kind as to PM me about your plan, we can make this very intersting. Ah, inspiration. Hang on, if you don't like what follows Mika, I can change it, okay?

IC: Edgar smiled slightly, a wan, pale thing. "I'm afraid you misunderstand, Sir Tailki." He pointed at the wound on his shoulder, and the cuts in Mikas side. "Even if Dark Star dies, these remain. They are independant of him, spawned from his darkness and lethal all on thier own. My fate is very much sealed." He smiled at Setsuna then. "I'm positive you'll make an excellent ruler, Setsuna, you always where a brilliant child, if I remember correctly. But you tend to try to stand alone to often." He chuckled, and it ended in a slight cough. "Guess thats hypocrisy from a man who tried to defend a whole kingdom on his own. But my point, my lady, is that you have to, at some point or other, depend on others, especially if you rule a kingdom. Most try to make ruling thier own task, but that will eventually kill you. Serenity taught me that." On instinct, Edgar reached up to clasp the jewel embeded on the breast plate of his armor., now sitting on a rock in front of him. "Friends are the most valuable thing any one could ever have. Yet you cannot own them. They are the greatest tool you could ever hope for. Yet you cannot command them. They are the most loyal being possible. Yet you have to earn that loyalty. Friends are at once a great burden and a great relief. YOU, more then any one else, will need them Setsuna." He sighed and coughed again. "Miss." he said, looking at Mika. "You NEED to be strong as well.I am sure there are people who need you, people that mean something to you, and you to them. You cannot allow yourself to fall, to give in to this." The words rang in his own head, but he shoved them aside. "The purity of your friendships, and the strength of your heart can and will see you thru this."

Fate has a strange way of stepping in, either right when she is needed, or right when she is least wanted. Her attitudes range from fickle to bountiful, to downright nasty. But fate had something else in store this night. The being that stepped from around the corner of a nearby building, once a bakery, was most definitly human, and in that same breath, most definitly not living. Yet not a single one of the minds shrieked out any warning of danger, and indeed, there waws none to fear from this strange being. He was dressed much in the same way as Edgar, pale white armor, full body, now dented, long flowing cape, now torn. He was taller then Edgar by about half a foot, making him about 6'5, and strapped across his back where two long swords, opposed to Edgars single greatsword. He approached quietly, and no one seemed to notice as he stole up to Mika and knelt by her side. "Edgar." The man said softly, probably startling everone half out of thier wits. Edgars hand snapped to his sword hilt, leaning against the rock his armor ws on, but stopped halfway there. Edgar stared intently at the man thing for a second, then relaxed and shook his head. "Forima, you should get back to being dead, old friend." The man smiled sadly at him. "Think your funny as usual, don't you?" But his tone was as jovial as that of an undead could be. Forima shrugged slightly, smiling. "I got tired of pushing up moondust, and when I heard you banging around like a herd of elephants up here, I thought I'd see what I could do to help." Forima nodded to Setsuna. "Lady Pluto, nice remodeling job you've done with the place." Then his face became serious again, and he turned back to Edgar. "Edgar, this one, she can not make it in her condition. No offense." He nodded to Mika. "But she isn't as strong as you. Darkstar is your antithesis, of course your strong against his poison." And the unseen message passed across Forimas face, that even Edgar wouldn't last logn against the kind of wound he'd been delt. "But this one, she can't go on for just a whole lot longer." He hesitated then, something verging on the edge of his pale lips. "The heart of the Moon, Edgar." He said, nodding to his armor mounted jewel. "Do you remember?" He said it intensly.

Edgar focused for a moment, and his eyes widened. "You mean?" It was simple. It WAS a new body. But it didn't seem right......."Forima, I can't..........." But Forimas gaze stopped him cold. "I know what she ment to you, Edgar. The whole kingdom did. But she's gone now, and you and I both know that if it means saving some ones life, she would gladly jump at the chance. Thats the way Serenity was." Edgar struggled with it, then, with a strangled sob, jerked the jewel from his armor. Forima turned to the group and patiently began to explain. "When Edgar got here, after Serenity sent every one into time, Serenity hovered on the verge of death. Her last request was that her body be stored in the Heart of the Moon, and kept as a remembrance of her lost kingdom. But she wanted her body to be kept alive. Her spirit stayed here, with her kingdom, and her body 'sleeps' in Edgars jewel, never to awaken. We can fuse this childs body and soul with Serenity's body, and it would replace Mikas body with a new version of Mika. That came out wrong........." He thought about it for a second. "She would still look as she does now, and be as she is now, but her body would, in basic concept, be Serenity's. Every thing would be the same, except that she would have the power that came with Serenty's body. All of the children of the moon where gifted. ARE. Sorry." He looked around again, and noted that by Edgar stern gaze that he had made up his mind. Forima nodded solemnly. "Child." he said to Mika. "We can only do this with your consent. Do you agree?" Edgar winced and grabbed his shoulder, then knelt beside Mika, Heart of the Moon before him.


OOC; Wow, that was a long li'l mutha. Sorry about that, hope you all enjoy! Tell me what you think, I'm a little worried that it sounds bad.

 

OOC: More to the story to add, I must. Forgive me, you will?

IC: Forima took Alesie and Setsuna, now Plito, slightly to the side as Edgar Knelt by Mika. "Listen to me, very closely. In a very short amount of time, Edgar is going to deteriorate very quickly. That poison is more then lethal to normal humans. I do not know if he can fight it or not, but I am not holding out much hope, and he has given up entirely. To make things worse, Malice has a very nasty trick up his sleeve. Edgar has already loved and lost in this life time, as you may or may not know, but Malice......" He shook his head. "Malice has reanimated the body of Lisa, the woman he loved on this go around, and is going to make her fight Edgar. He will not be able to." Forima sighed, and stared hard at both of them. "At that time your going to have to make a choice. You can either let some of his guilt be appeased by dying at the blade of that swordmaiden, or he can die mired in guilt, very slowly and very painfully, as Darktars poison takes hold, and believe me, its only become worse, since Darkstar last killed him with it." He held up a hand to forestall any argument. "I know, you immediately want to save your friend, even though you just met. Its the way you are. But you might want to think about it for a moment. I am almost positive he is not going to be able to find the strength to fight that poison, with every one who means anything to him dead, he'll only want to succumb. Do not get me wrong, he will defend you all with his life, but thats just the way he is." He turned and walked back towards Edgar. "You have a hard choice to make, Ladies. I pray you make the one that helps everyone."
