    actually they are the exact same thing. one is just the american title for them and then Rurouni Kenshin. now as for two different animes i think your thinking of "Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan" (TV series) and "Rurouni Kenshin OVA" (OVA known as the "Tsukiohen and Seishouhen")
