Gundam SD Ep 1 thought [May Contian Spoilers]

Yo here on the east coast SD ep 1 just finished here are my thoughts:
-cute
-funny
-lots of Mobile Suit Gundam refrences that my friends won't get because they started liking gundam at G Gundam
now that you're my thoughts tell me yours

You're rather late, I'm all the way at episode 46!!!. Tis a great Gundam series given that you havn't watched the earlier series (Z Gundam I think) which is said to be very similar in storyline. To be honest with you the first 20 or so episodes are slow and not so good generally. Wait till you get to episode 29, THEN the ball starts rolling. Unfortunately Bandai has now licensed Gundam Seed at around episode 45 so the leading episode fansubber 'AnimeJunkies' and some other fansub sites has stopped distributing the episodes. Therefore it is going to be harder for us hooked SEED fans to get the remaining episodes. Although 'SEED fansubs' are determined to release the rest of it regardless of the situation.

OoOoOoOoOo, sorry I thought you shortened SEED to SD. Sorry for the mix up. Now before someone calls me a spammer which they can rightfully call me if I end the post here, maybe you can enlighten me what SD Gundam is about. Thanks!

This is to answer what Shenlong_nk asked what is SD Gundam Force. It is the newest Gundam being aired in the world(I say this because it is being preimiered on CN) english first. The SD stands for Supioer Defender not Super Deformed (you know moms who have nothing better to do than complain) even thought all the robots not ms (they have no pilots) are super deformed. think that explains all that I can without saying anything that was not already said previously on either cn or a press realese

 

Will give it a try, how many eps on air at the mo?

 

SD Gundam Force airs weekdays on Cartoonnetwork at 5 PM EST watch it then

 

There are 5 eps as of sept 5 if CN contiues to play it dayily it shouldbedone by mid-Nov since they planto play 52 eps of it must like most good shows on tooani are turned to weekly on that saturday thing

 

I really dislike Superior Defender. It's plot is soooooooo flat, that's it not funny. All of the characters seem to lack personality, and those that do have a personality... are annoying.



The animation is nice, yes. But everything else... =/




They should have brought the old Super Deformed Gundam from the late 80's/early 90's, now that's good.

 

well i don't like the sd gundam on toonami. but i do like the older one they made. but i really like the freedom gundam( from gundam seed ) :catgirl:

 

there were quite a few SD OVAs/Movies that they made but they have not been released in America as of yet but odds are it should be out within the next eternity
