Gundam SD Gundam(what is this)

SD Gundam has to be one of the stupidest things ever it makes Gundams look stupid. Why in the world would they make them look bad?What do you think?

 

I enjoy it. It is not my favorite Gundam series but it was not meant to be serious. I was meant to be funny. But wait there's more something within the next few months there will be another 26 episodes.

 

i mean i have no prob w/ it its just i dont like watching it at all. And it might mbe that American ones suck but i just like the Gundam Wing and G Gundam i like there story line and everything.

 

I hate this series as well. The cell shaded animation is pretty bad. Video games have better animation. If it is supposed to be funny, it fails. This may be because of a bad translation, but I doubt it. I like 8th MS Team and Wing much, much more.

My opinion on this matter doesnt really count because I really dont like any of the "cute" stuff that comes out of Japan. I guess in anime lingo its called chibi, but what ever lol. :glazed: Meh....

 

First of all i wasn't translated. The english came out first. i do not belive it has aired in the Japan as of yet

 

Yeah Wing and 8th MS was a whole lot better and SD dont do anything funny and if it is funny its only to lil kids that dont really understand it or anything. its like innocent gundam wing

 

You might be surprised... some people other than little kids find it funny. Of course, it helps to have a background steeped in Gundam knowledge to catch some of the subtle things.

 

i know enough gundam to think what i do ...its just one of those personal opinons pplz have about a show and thats mine on SD

 

At first I kinda thought--My God what have they done to the robots--but after watching it a few times, it does kinda grow on you.

As you stated Saka--its just my opinion--but I don't think this version is that bad. And by the way, I am not a kid and I also find it a little amusing.

I hate this show. It's just so...guh....it's so dumb it's indescribable.

 

But you gotta admit, the Chibi Gundam's ARE cute. With all due respect though, it sucks. xD Oh, and don't buy the Chibi Gundam Markers, tehy suck, too.

 

SD gundam on cartoonnetwork is gay but the other shows are good :anime:

 

Anyone heard of SD Gundam Mark I-IV?

It was a series in 1988 that focused on putting super deformed gundams into comedic situations. Apperently it wasn't made for much more than extra profit to add onto what the original Gundam series was already making.

There was the orginial SD Gundam, 10 episodes; SD Gundam Mark I-IV, 4 episodes; SD Warrior Gundam 2 episodes; and SD Gundam Side Story, which was another 4 episodes.

Anyways the difference between this and the 2004 series, is the ones from 88-90 were actually good Or so reviews say, I haven't actually seen it.

... I remeber getting little pogs of these guys WAY back in the day and not having a clue what they were.

 

yeah the old SD is good, all the new 1 does is hav zaku in the amount of sakus which is 1 step closer

 

i think it is funny.
i also think it is good.
i hate to say this but for some reason SD gundam got me into the gundam seris.
i just think it being funny broke the ice for me to get into the seris.
my opinion on SD gundam.
