Ever since the time of birth, towards something brighter and better, we make our way

Crawling out way across the heavens, oceans, and lands like the sun does every single day

We know not where we are heading; we are just searching for our piece of paradise

We build our cities over cultures time long forgot, never listening to lost advise

While sirens sing of halcyon days, we dream of midsummer day’s golden light

And on faltering wings of clouded wax we raise our brittle bones and ascend in glorious flight

But alas we never can find true paradise for our very essence has been tainted by the black blood of lies

And as we are born so we shall die, forgetting of the sacrifice and severing all of our ties

Our memories as forgotten as our lost paradise and no one will think to speak our names

And when cities grow upon our bones, we may find dreams of paradise reborn like the phoenix from the flames
