:anime: If anybody has any anime music videos, send them to me. I am trying to develop an extensive collection to be made available for free eventually. I don't care how big they are or what anime they're from.

check out www.animemusicvideos.org. There already is something like what you are talking about.. but if you do go ahead with that I think you should e-mail the creators of the AMVs first and ask for permission.

Good point! People can use an instant messenger, but it might be slow in some places, plus gotta make an appointment.

My friends and I actually have programs we can use to make amv's, just that it takes a lot of time taking so many clips from a stack of DVD's. Oh yeah, Kazaa has a few. I think that's where I got the heavy metal Digi Charat one.

 

Oh really? Hey Ashley! I bet Kenny doesn't have that one cool Lain video, or even the classic Eva/Rammstein video! Funny, huh?

And as Chejo kinda said, 50 MB by email doesn't work. If we were to liken our own e-mail boxes to your regular "approved by US Postmaster General" boxes, and yours could hold AMV's, yours would be the size of a Ryder truck. Amazing!

One more thing...
I have broadband. I can download 50MB faster than...um...I can make a low quality scribble.
But if the other computer has a slow connection("death to slow modems!"), I have time to draw a better CHibi Roppomatsu or Chibi Inuyasha or...
Tell Ashley I shall surpass her eventually and it will be funny because I shall draw better.
Speaking of which, I shall soon put an album of my art on this site(maybe in a few minutes..). After you peoples see my work, tell Ashley I draw better(because evil always loses).

Furthermore it isn't an issue of download speed, rather it's the issue of the sheer size of a video. The Macross - Intergalactic (remix) video I made weighs in at (IIRC) a hefty 60 megs, and thats in wmv format, which is rather small.

Most email inbox sizes are 2-6 megs.

 

Wtf? Did I miss something? Who the hell is Ashley? Who the hell are you? o.o *blink* I have over a hundred AMV's. I used to download like 5 every hour. After a while... there were no more. o_o And I don't know why, but my little obsession just kinda dissapeared. It would take me ages to send them all to you, unless you live down the street and can carry a stack of 50 CD's that far. So, buddy, you've got a fast connection, gechurself winmx, and hit it! XD I'll send you some if ya IM me sometime.

I know! I shall use my schools network! Since they don't have a limit on inbox size, I could download all iwanted. Last time I checked, it had about 80GB free. My hard drive has only 40GB and...let me check...25.3GB free(My user folder is 3.81 GB-I should buy my own hard drive then I could get all the anime stuff i want)
