Eirtaku (September) - Anime in Maynooth

Theres Anime in Maynooth next Month (september),

yes the foreign students have gone and we're finally able to book a room

It will be on Saturday the 14th and sunday the 15th of September starting at about 10 am. [ Be Prompt, as we don't wait for people (glares at Lord of Terror ) ]

So far the anime hasn't been picked, but there's a fairly good chance it will be the entire 26 Episodes of Escaflowne!

I'm in the middle of Exams right now but when they are over (August 31st) I'll get more info up and try to get picture directions to find your way uploaded.

tis a great series alright, any chance we will be able to watch the movie as well? I ain't seen that yet.

 

I just rang up the owner of the 26 Escaflowne Episodes and he Does

26 episodes takes a fair amount of time, I just hope there'd be enuff left to show the film (probably will, I'm just scare-mongering )

 

heh, we could always watch berserk that series rules.

as i aready told sou sly, those dates are boody terrible, anyway i imight be able to make it, ive been there every time so far, since we started showing anime.

In case you wanna know, Phyrea (aka Michiru), member of old-skool Eirtaku, is going to study in Maynooth ^_^

And I know I haven't posted in a while, but the board is very slow on my poor machine. I MISS THE COMPUTERS FROM WORK.

Are there any of ye anime fans actually studying in maynooth? - I'm moving up on sunday and as of yet I've seen no sign of anime clubs or anything in the student handbooks. So I'm assuming there HAS got to be at least a few anime fans in maynooth.

The Omega Society ( sci-fi and fantasy) started showing anime last year and seem to be in the society who run it! If your looking for myself I'm called "Smiler" (a fair few people know the name) around maynooth

we should be starting up our weekly anime showings soon, when ever we do start well put up posters around the place,

 

hrm, it's a real pity there are no anime showing thingies in carlow.. it'd be like.. COOL


once i get the feel of this place I'm gona see about playing anime in a room sometime.. even if no one turns up, I wanna do it in between classes, a bit of evangelion would fit nicely
