Anime Serial Experiments Lain

    Okay, I have the whole series, and have yet to watch it. Is it worth my time? I hear it has some sort of deep philosophy or some such thing. And Lain has cool outfits. Help?!

    There's a whole forum for this anime, it would have been better off posted in there. I'm thinking it'll be moved, but, it's a great series. A bit mind-numbing, but I love it. It's very deep, but it all ties together rather smoothly, provided you pay lots of attention and take your time to understand everything.

    Lain also has a cool set of pajamas. And she usually dresses casually, but there are lots of pictures of her in different walks of life. My favorite would be her DJ outfit, and the "Country Singer" outfits.

    well worth watching imvho. Is a bit deep, and it won't spoon feed you, but I'd definately recommend it

    Ah, a llama. Why is there an attachment of a llama? I don't know. Race of a Thousand Camels was a good album, I think all of which is on the Twilight album in the US. That's music by Boa, the group that sang "Duvet", the opening theme to Lain.

    In the most abstract terms I can find, Lain is about the breaking down of the barriers between the Wired world and the real world.

    I think that's a pretty darn good summary of the series!

    Give the whole thing a chance up to the very end - don't give up in the middle! I think it's definitely worth the time, as long as you're willing to open your mind and think.
