Inu-Yasha Series DVD Q?

Hello,

I was first introduced to Inu-Yasha by Adult Swim and at first gave it no thought as it looked like a kid show that I wanted no part of. But then as I actually watched a few episodes I actually began to like the series. I've looked around the net trying to see how many episodes were made and I've found different answers.

One site said like 70+ and another said 27 or something...anyway it's come to my attention that there being released on DVD
(Inu-Yasha - A Girl's Best Friend (Vol. 2)
(Inu-Yasha - Down the Well (Vol. 1)

Each on contains (I believe) 3 episodes. So my main question is if there are 27 episodes and there only releaseing 3 per DVD...does this mean there will be like 8-9 DVD's? I'm hoping there are fans of the series that know what's going on and I'd appreciate the info.

That site was right.Actually I believe the series has reached 90 episodes or so.

 

97 in Japan. 97 on the dot, I believe.

 

And still running.

 

And hopefully to keep running and being imported to the U.S.

Is there somewhere where you can download Inu-Yasha eps?

I'm not sure, I've just been buying the subs ^_^;

 

And three movies,I dont know the specific names of them,but yeah,I may be mistaken, but Im 85% sure there are three movies.

 

Just two, at the moment. The second was released in Japan late December.

 

And yes, 90+ episodes, which is why Viz is really stupid in releasing it with only 3 episodes per dvd. ::sighs and waits for episode 95 to download::
