Inu-Yasha Sesshoumaru's Mother

Does anyone have any info/theories on Seshoumaru's mom?
I think she might have been a youkai which uses poison since only Sesshie seems use poison in the family.

 

I have absolutely no clue about who Sesshi's mom is......I don't think anybody else does either......by the way, did you get that question from an inu yasha quiz? Cause my friend took one with that question on it......

 

Well they never really cover flufs mom but I have to say that Fluf probaly got the hate for humans from mother

 

Maybe it's not Sesshy's mother's fault. It could be his father's fault for mating with a human and maybe his mother got angry for being betray. This could be a possibillity. I still don't get why everyone usually say it's Sess' mother that was the cruel one. There's a possibillity that Inuyasha's mother could be the mean one. *Shrug* I'm just thinking of all the possibillity of who's the mean one.

 

It might also be that neither of them is. Still it would be easier to think that Sesshoumaru's mom is the meaner one, it would help explain Ses' hatred of humans.

 

As you see later he married inuyasha's mother and so mabey thats why he lost his hatred for humans but you do make a good point there MA because He might of got it from his father because Sesshomaru is older than Inuyasha too.

Your post is rather confusing to read, headstrong.

I don't think Sessh got his severe dislike for humans from his mother. He couldn't have known his mother very long, since I think Inutaisho wouldn't have married a human girl if Sesshy's mother was still alive. Postulating, therefore, that Sesshy's mother was dead when Inutaisho married Inuyasha's mother, and knowing (thanks to a Japanese magazine) that Sesshy was 11 when Inuyasha was born, that puts Sesshy at age 10 at the oldest when his mother died. That's younger than Shippo currently is, so you know how small Sesshy was. However, because by this point in time Inutaisho was married to Inu-kun's mother, I don't think Inutaisho taught Sesshy a dislike of humans either. I think Inutaisho died while his children were still young, and Sesshy developed his own dislike for humans. Maybe they treated him worse than they treated little Inu-kun. ::shrug::

 

I'm not sure what I think. I think that Sesho-chan's mom might have even be like his dad, but died before she had a chance to teach him about how humans are good. But I know I do agree that Inu and Sesho's dad wouldn't have remarried if his first wife was still alive, that is, unless she was mean, But I serously doubt that.

I have thought about his mother myself. One possibilty would be that his mother was killed by humans and then his father up and marries one. I'm sure he thought they were lower then himself to begain with and that might have just drove him over the edge. Just one thought on the subject. There are to many possibilties.

What about the fur he wears around his shoulder. It would seem that might be apart of him somehow, yet it's not a tail as some believe. Anyone have any thought's on that?

 

Ok, guess this has been talked about before. My brother and I had this talk as well and from the pictures we've seen, it appears that he has no tail.

 

I agree with Kagorashi...infact i don't think i could have said it better myself...or like another person said...i fergot their name, sorri! That yeah maybe Sessy's mom was killed by humans so thats why he hates em.

I wish I knew about her. . .
-Well the obvious is that she is a demon/youkai
-She must have been somewhat powerful
I wonder if she was nice in personality. . .
Maybe there might be an episode to explain about her!
If not. . .I guess it's ok.

I think his mother was a demon, but died, and i think the reason why Sesshomaru doesnt like humans is because his mom had died, and his dad took a human, not a demon, but a weak defensless human to be his mate, he probaly thought why did his father choose a human over his dead mother,which was a demon. That probaly got him into hating humans.

 

ok, this is wat i think.... i think that Sesshoumaru's mother was a goddess or some sort.... becuz of course, there are the three swords, sounga - sword of hell, tetseiga - sword of earth, and tenseiga - sword of heaven... so there you have it, his mother must've been a goddess....

 

I think his mother was a demon, who was killed by a human and that's why he hates humans. That and what Jakotsu chan said.

 

i heard that sesshomaru's mother had poision in her vains because sesshomaru can use poision. also she had to had been dog demon and what a demon she was but also you have his handsome father you have to glive them both credit for that

im with sukura on this one, sesshoumarus mother could be that, but i dont think she was killed by a human i think she died of a broken heart. his father did have inu-yasha and hes a half breed she seehoumaru's mother could have died that way and thats why he hates human cuse his dad left him and his mother for a human. but i realy dont know.
