I think that 'Damn you sloth!' followed by 'Yo Vashu' is a bit too pointed. Nice that you say 'hi' whenever you post though!

If the contest is who commits the most wrongful acts, is anyone really a winner?

Yes! this is a thread of immorality where we revel in our immorality. don't get virtues into this hotbed of pure sin. Legato= Evil therefore legato's threads= evil.

Leave evil out of this. Do you even know what that means?

"Know one has the answer, but one thing is true
You gotta turn on evil when it's coming after you
You gotta face it down, and when it tries to hide
You gotta go in after it, and never be denied!"
    -Neil Young, Let's Roll-

If evil is so great, why does humanity spend so much time and energy fighting it?

That's it from your resident mindless philosopher for now ...

Humanity doesn't fight evil it welcomes it with open arms and supports it.
We are not an evil fighting species.

    *McDonalds
    *Shell
    *Nestle
    *Micro$oft
    *Sony

all evil. Most people'd use at least 2.

So the answer is you don't know what evil is. There is more to evil than putting money above all else. There is more to evil than cutting corners and strings to turn up more profit. There is more to evil than what is found in big businesses.
If you say you are in support of evil, you are in support of death, blood, destruction, torture, pain, hatred, racism, and a whole shitload of things not even fit to be mentioned.

Am I the only one here who still believes in universal love, peace and brotherhood among all humanity?

I'd say slave labour , removing peoples land rights and harming people to line already well lined pockets is evil. Shell and Nestle at least do such things. Dont assume I dont know what Im talking about right off the bat.
Insidently, Legato is egotistical and jokes about being evil. Joking being the all important word here.
Lighten' up pal. If you believe in universal love and peace, dont lose your rag so quickly.

Evil is also the manipulation and exploitation of people. Which I do.
    And so does shell.

I think when the point of capitalism stopped being to make a profit and started being to maximise profits, business did become genuinely evil. The multinationals really do seem to feel that they're above any kind of social obligation, other than to their shareholders.

Pretty much, yeah. And the whole stinking system of having a lovely lifestyle that rides on the back of third world (and our own world) misery. Not taking the moral high ground here, mind you. Just making a point. I don't buy Shell but I do buy Milo.
